From the minute Steve came to visit us and talk us through the process, showing he clearly knew his stuff, he gave us absolute confidence on something which can be quite daunting! Once we received an offer Louisa really couldn't have been more helpful throughout the whole time, answering every question and being completely on top of it all and helping to relieve any worries we had. We used Stephen Lane a while ago now. Our property had been on the market for about 10 months, in Leigh on sea. Wasn’t really getting much feed back from our agents at all. We asked Stephen to come and have a look, to see what he thought and asked for his honest opinion. We had a chat, I told him our worry about the description that the other agents had given about our house on the write up, which we asked time again to change, but they kept saying “just leave it a little longer! just leave it a little longer!” Steve listened and agreed to help! Stephen Lane personally visited my home, to provide me with a valuation. As a single parent I am warily who enters my house and I was very relaxed in welcoming him in. He was highly professional and extremely knowledgeable and although I had a few other agents around, it was this that set him out above the other agents. I had higher and lower valuations from other agents, but I didn't feel they were as credible as Stephen. I will certainly be using this company when I come to sell and would highly recommend to my friends and family. Stephen Lane and team have been fantastic.
We went with their, up front service, which was the same as the online websites, but other estates agents soon contacted us to say Stephen lanes care will not be great due to paying up front.
How wrong they were. We received regularly information packs and calls, then when we did have a buyer and we had problems with him, Stephen Lane himself kept doing everything in his power to help us through even in his spare time. We can not thank you enough for the help you have given us over the last six months x

What inspired you to start your own business?
After 25 years of working for corporate companies, I felt their was a better way to deliver service, and set up a traditional Estate Agent with a focus on modern marketing methods.
