My daughter was finding her GCSE texts very challenging. Her school is teaching GCSE texts that are not widely taught and it took us some time to find the right tutor who already had an experience in teaching given texts and was affordable.   We were initially trying to find the group tuition based on my daughter's texts as the group lessons are usually more accessible. Regrettably, for the period of 3 years, we failed to find any grup tuition on these literature texts.  We kept trying...Most of the torus and tutoring companies told us directly that they had never taught my daughter's GCSE texts before.

Firstly it was caused by the gaps as a result of the lack of teaching during the pandemic period and secondly, by the inability to deal with the sheer volume of learning, remembering, and understanding of topics covered in the English Language and Literature.
