SDA also runs dance clubs, classes and workshops around Dorset and available for fetes and festivals.
At SDA we have a team of dancers available for function hire for many occasions.

Sarah and Lenise came along to help us relive our youth in a street dance class for my best friends hen. They were FAB, had so much energy and engaged with the group straight away. They spent time chatting to me before hand about what I was looking for and did not disappoint. We managed to do 2 routines, street and a spot of lyrical which all added to the experience. I have been attending Starlight Academy for 3 months now and I feel I have enough experience to now right a fully informed review. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the academy, we have many dances which I believe, from my experience in previous shows and taking A Level dance, included a high level of dance which challenges the dancers. A part which I also really like is how the teachers not only choreograph the dance but encourage the dancers input, this stimulates creativity and encourages dancers to think on their feet as well as having a chance to add moves they've thought of and want to share/develop - something that is required to be successful and to reach a higher level of dance. I wanted to add, we do sometimes play games however this is usually for the younger ones as it builds confidence, since many if not all have never danced before, and acts as a cool down. It doesn't dominate the dancing, unlike the one star review states.One session is £6 and worth the price. More...

Thank you so much to Starlight Dance Academy for an awesome birthday party for my 7 year old yesterday. Lots of fun games and an amazingly choreographed dance routine and show for the parents. My daughter has grown in confidence since starting dancing with Starlight she loves learning new dance moves . The 2 ladies that run Starlight are very dedicated and enjoy the classes as much as the kids do .
