Initial Consultation at this stage we will meet with you and discuss your project in detail to get a thorough understanding of your projects needs
Fee Proposal based on our initial discussion and your requirements we will produce a quote for our services
Plans Drawn using the latest 3d architectural design software we will draw up plans for your project, with 3d views as standard for a better understanding of how your project will look
Planning Application is made to the local authority. We prepare, submit and manage the application and correspondence with the planners through to decision date
Building Construction drawings, details and specifications are made for your project. A building control application is submitted in order to ensure the project complies with the building regulations
Project Manage - to ensure the contractor builds the project in accordance with our agreed design in line with planning and building regulations, regular site visits are made to inspect the work
Building Regulations Construction Drawings
Building regulation drawings are technical drawings that set out in detail construction methods and types of materials that should be used throughout the build.
They cover all aspects of construction, including foundations, damp-proofing, the overall stability of the building, insulation, ventilation, heating, fire protection and means of escape in case of fire. They also ensure that adequate facilities for people with disabilities are provided in certain types of building.

How Can I Get Building Regulations Approval?
Building Regulation approval can be obtained through a Full Plans Application which comprises of a completed application form, a detailed set of building regulation drawings and the correct fee. Throughout the Building Regulations process a building control inspector will visit the site to make sure that the work which has been undertaken meets the required standards.
Project Management
Management of the project generally is a crucial part of the process. Regular site visits and inspections are very important to ensure the construction works is being carried out in accordance with the contract documents, and also in line with the Principle designer duties ensuring compliance with Health and Safety on site.

We see our job being the middle man between the client and the contractor, ensuring the contractor understands the clients needs and the drawings and construction information communicate that. The cost implications of errors during construction can jeopardise the entire delivery of a project and ensuring that all work is being constructed in accordance with the design documents can alleviate delays in project completion.
CDM 2015 Principle Designer Duties
CDM 2015 introduced the role of the principal designer. For the first time, a single designer needs to lead health and safety before work starts on site. Under CDM, the principal designer has some important legal duties and responsibilities they need to carry out.
One of the important duties of the principal designer is to assist the client in the project set up and in understanding their duties. This will include help in gathering the project information, assisting coordination between the project team and in the production of the pre construction information.
During the pre-construction phase, the principal designer has a responsibility to coordinate health and safety with all designers on the project. You should provide relevant information to designers as it becomes available, and make sure that risks are considered between the different designers, particularly where they may impact each other.
