Our extensive menu of services can be tailored to meet the priorities of our clients, be they developers, freeholders or resident’s management companies. We understand the differences in the needs of our client groups and work with each client to ensure their specific needs are met.

Our comprehensive approach, underpinned by our 20:20 service provision, ensures that clients fully understand how we can help them, whilst our fixed price schedules ensure there are no surprises in respect of our Fees.

We understand that every property and every client are different and our staff are trained to consider issues and requirements as if they were the client themselves. Our business ethos is simple, with all our team encouraged to consider client properties as if they were their own, whilst delivering the highest quality services available within agreed budgets. A clear pricing structure with a transparent schedule of fees guarantees that clients can be sure of a fair price with no hidden extras.

We use an industry leading portal to provide clients with administrative and accounting services, along with teh ability to report and follow up issues on-line.

Services

Current Legislation provides Leaseholders with a number of rights, one of which enables them to transfer the landlord’s management functions to a special leaseholder-owned body, being the right to manage (RTM) company.

Southside are experienced practitioners in this field and were recently named finalists at the national industry awards under the category of “Best Managing Agents for an RTM / RMC Block”. We can help by explaining the process in full and, if required, managing the whole process; from establishing the company through to managing the handover of responsibilities.

As more and more blocks are in practice managed through Companies, be they RTM / RMC or Enfranchisement / Freehold bodies, there is naturally an increasing demand for Company specific Services. Whilst (in most cases) Management Companies no longer need to appoint a formal Company Secretary under current legislation, many still choose to do so or at least formally appoint a professional to undertake the functions traditionally provided by a Company Secretary. Southside act as Corporate Secretary for a number of clients, who feel this is the most appropriate way to ensure with confidence that their legal obligations are met.

Our in-house surveyors are able to provide a range of services to support the ongoing maintenance of our client’s properties, from the provision of general condition reports, through to the recording of defects, fault identification and the management of major works. For any significant structural defects or specific areas of concern raised (such as subsidence or damp) Southside have excellent and long-standing relationships with specialists offering preferential rates for our clients. The early identification and professional management of such defects often results in considerable savings over time.

All our professional services are available individually as required, regardless of whether or not the customer is an existing Southside client.

Residential Block Management is our core business and we continue to successfully deliver our services to a growing and increasingly diverse client group.
