I am a patient and talented guitar teacher with over a decade of experience in both teaching and performing. I have a Bachelor of Music with Honours (Bmus Hons) degree in guitar performance and an endorsement in guitar tuition from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

If you are wanting to learn to play guitar properly you need a well qualified teacher with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for education and improvement, but who is equally relaxed and has experience of both professional and amateur music making.

I have a wider performance experience than many teachers and I have: provide music at classical events attend by the Queen and high ranking MP's; toured with The Eilidh Grant Scottish Folk band for 6 years; performed with a 30 piece Jazz Big Band (3 years); performed in bars and clubs with metal and rock bands. I have many videos of myself playing on youtube and teach all styles of music to all ages ranging from 3 years to 90 years. I teach privately in London and also run Glasgow School of Guitar remotely, providing group guitar tuition in Glasgow.

I have even published my own guitar tutor book SoundTuition.com's Ultimate Guitar Textbook - Part 1. You won't find a better qualified, more experienced, more passionate teacher.
