Misia has a special way of making you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive, her room is tranquil in both look & ambience & that along with the music sets the tone for the treatment , the facials are just heavenly & transport you elsewhere for the duration which is much needed in today's hectic lives, it allows you to get off the carousel of thought & float away into a peaceful & serene state of mind whilst gaining the benefits of the pampering that you are receiving! An absolutely brilliant treatment from start to finish with Misia. Her approach is entirely bespoke, and there is absolutely no feeling that you are being rushed, or on a time limit, which really helps the sense of relaxation and well-being. The treatment room is fabulous too. Its clear that Misia knows her stuff! She has many brands, some of which are organic, which I really liked.. knows what your skin needs but doesnt give you the hard sell either. Today I visited Misia and received a wonderful facial. You know when someone really knows there stuff as they are advising you on all the little bits that will contribute to you getting the results you want but these little things aren't something they sell - you know like they are telling you to eat this food, get particular vitamins into your body drink this and then to a little bit of that. Well this is what Misia did for me at soothe today. In a warm cocoon of duvets, with candles, music and relaxing aromas, my skin was cleansed & massaged until the redness that I arrived with was calmed and replaced with plump, dewy skin. My whole face looks calmer and rested after just one facial. I actually feel it looks younger too. Looking forward to this journey of renewing my skin to a more hydrated & healthy version!

My sister and I had a facial by Misia a couple of weeks ago and it has taken until now before we have been able to think exactly how to explain it, even now I am sure we won’t do it justice. It was a birthday treat for my sister and I and we had one after another and whilst the other was waiting we were able to sit and relax and read and have cups of lovely tea! We have had a few facials over the years but can honestly say I have never had a facial that has made me feel like this one. It really isn’t just a facial it’s a whole experience, and to be honest afterwards we were both quite emotional! My sister couldn’t really form her words saying she didn’t actually realise how much she needed this or how good something could be until you had experienced it. Misia (Owner) was highly recommended to me as the 'last resort' before invasive measures.I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a facial so relaxing in my life. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are made to feel special and more importantly relaxed. Aside from the amazing experience, the results after only a few treatments I have to say are astonishing.Another thing I have to say about Misia is I am very impressed with her honesty. From the minute you walk in and meet Misia you feel instantly relaxed by her calming personality. She has a very special gift and expertise and whilst being friendly and easy to talk to she is also very professional. I shout loud about Soothe everywhere I go. I'm not on commission, but if I were I'd be rich! If you close your eyes for a moment and pretend you are celebrity living in London, and you only want THE BEST, most attentive, discreet qualified therapist for a massage or facial etc. you would be hard pressed, because Misia of Soothe is based in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Sorry Madonna you are all out of luck! Every part of the Soothe experience oozes quality and luxury. From the perfect salon surroundings, the instantly relaxing treatment room (which I will one day model my own bedroom on), the pre consultation which Misia uses to gather the information necessary for the bespoke treatment for you, right to the heavenly experience of the facial/massage. Misia at Soothe is undoubtedly an expert in skincare and anti ageing treatments but I approached her at a time when I was going through a great deal of stress. After the death of someone very close to me I couldn't sleep and I ended up with chronic sinusitis from crying, my face was very swollen and red and i was unable to sleep because of the pain. Misia gave me the most astonishing face head and neck massage complete with incredible soothing organic products. My skin felt like it had been drenched in moisture and completely calm and I was pain free and calm when she finished. She took time to really understand me and to make me feel relaxed and at home. I felt pampered and really cared for. Afterwards there was time for me to gather my thoughts and at no time did i feel rushed. Soothe is very unusual in a world where treatments are often mechanised in chains of salons and many hundreds of clients receive identical procedures. I visited Misia at Soothe for the first time a couple of months ago after a stressful (though lovely) Christmas. The studio is absolutely beautiful. The decor is relaxing and the music was perfect but really marks Soothe out is the quality of the massage. Misia took a short medical history and checked any existing complaints and we talked about what I wanted to get out of the session. The massage she gave me was unlike any i've received before. It was respectful and comforting and completely relaxing. I left feeling all the knots had been worked out of my back and shoulders and the feeling of relaxation lasted for days. I expected to fall asleep but was able to enjoy every minute. I have paid twice the price for a far less beneficial service and I feel anyone who puts themselves in Misia's capable hands will be coming back for more. More...
