Sat in the ""chilly" stand (somerset pavilion). Not sure the sun will reach us. County match but getting our money's worth. Coffee not good but hot chocolate comes recommended. Friendly gate staff. Thaanks SCC for a good day. More...

Lovely County Cricket Ground, still retaining an original pavilion! Easy stroll from the station, plenty parking. Plenty eateries close by as well as a Morrisons supermarket (impromptu picnic) Only 5mins from the town centre..... & even 20min walk from home .

Good view from the seats, short boundaries so you should see a high scoring game. Drinks aren't cheap as you'd expect, £4 a can. Food options are limited; perhaps the Pieminister stand being the best option at £6 for a decent quality pie, mash and gravy. Overall a decent matchday experience. More...

Enjoyed the T20 game though Somerset 30 runs short. Really good facilities and very helpful, friendly staff all around the ground.

Principally the base of Somerset Cricket Club and all that it involves on match days. But the Stragglers restaurant is open for the public most days between 10am and 4. 30pm for breakfast and lunch, also lighter snacks and drinks. Prices are reasonable and the quality good, and with a small discount for Club members on non-match days. Carvery lunches are available in another larger building most Sundays, preferably by booking. During matches other food outlets are also available. More...

One of my favourite grounds. Small enough to be intimate and always a great day out especially if the sun is shining and Somerset win :)

I was an attendee at a conference held in the ground. The facilities were very good, large seating area, repeater projection screens if you have a large conference. The lunchtime buffet was very good with a wide choice. The view of the ground was excellent, although it was tempting to watch the practice going on outside as opposed to my conference! More...

Has been undergoing improvements. Once had a flaky pasty (from a kiosk), which they tried to pass off as cornish! Now they have delicious ice creams and a nice cafe/restaurant in addition to the usual hot sausages, chips etc. Oh, and the cricket is very enjoyable too, but evenings are not so good for us as weekends as we have to travel a long way. Great atmosphere for T20 matches. Smaller ground than the test grounds so lots of big hitting. Very well stewardship. Beer reasonably priced. Close to the action.
