What do you love most about your job?
Social Media Marketing is a new concept for many people owning businesses, this unexplored advertisement means there is still so much unknown to even professionals in the field. I love being challenged by different businesses and the lack of normality, always finding something new to develop and improve. Being able to directly offer benefits to businesses and seeing them grow from my help is yet rewarding and motivating. Working across a number of industries is challenging, but I love to understand new concepts and how social media marketing is best within each sector.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The opportunity to have control and independence in offering a service I am so passionate about gave me the inspiration to develop the business Social Media Advisory. Being able to take control over a project and have a big influence on companies online social media presence is very motivating and rewarding. Working directly with clients allows me to personalize the services offered to best suit the needs of the varying businesses I work with, which ends in better achievements and growth. Working as a social media executive previous to setting up SMA laid strong foundations for my understanding and ability to achieve results. I worked within a number of industries and learnt how to best deal with varying social media positioning and methods to maximize results. Setting up my business was the next step to offer my services on a larger scale and support more businesses.
