I have had Tobias tutor me for my GCSE Maths and, more recently, AS Physics. I can say that I wouldn’t have been able to pass Maths without him.
The transition to help me during Year 12 for Physics to online rather than face to face tuition has worked very well.

I hired Tobias after the schools closed in March. My son is in year 10 and we were very worried as he has his GCSE coming up next year.
Tobias has been a guiding star during these turbulent times. He clearly knows his subject content like the back of his hand and my son tells me he has an excellent style - very patient yet determined, personable with a great sense of humour. He was very quickly able to determine the best approach to teaching her and at the right speed. Highly recommended.
We had never done online one-to-one tuition before and were a little sceptical at first, but has Tobias shown us how easy, convenient and effective it is. My daughter says she learns more than classes she does in her classes, and I’ve seen her confidence and ability improve dramatically in both Science and Maths. I will be continuing to use his services even after the kids go back to school.

Why should our clients choose you?
Being an ex-secondary school teacher I have seen that the teaching of maths and science in the classroom can sometimes leave students feeling dejected, uninterested and even unable – often sapping their confidence. Through my tutoring I aim to rebuild this confidence and unlock each student’s true potential.
You should chose me because I create personalised teaching plans based on the aims and objectives of the tuition, and additionally on their strengths and weaknesses tailored to the exam specifications or national curriculum to ensure full coverage so there are no gaps left in the student's knowledge. For example, some of my students just want to prepare for exams, so we do extensive work on past papers, revision and exam technique. Other students may be a little behind in class and need to catch up, so I go back to the fundamentals and ensure we build a firm foundation so the student is able to catch up and gain confidence in their abilities. Some students (and parents) just need a little help with the homework and coursework, and in those cases, I can guide the student step by step on what they need to do in order to produce an A-grade submission.
