Smith and sons maintenance

George Smith came around to fix a leaking porch roof. The same leak has started again so I contacted him and he promised to come around but won't respond now. Have had another roofer come around and confirm poor quality work by Smith & Sons adding that they have had several call outs to fix 'work' carried out by this company. Avoid! More...

I had two damaged roof tiles and also a felt which needed to be replaced. George and his son offered to do the job for £550. I agreed, despite a pretty high price (a big mistake!).
After he'd finished the job, he said that he only replaced one tile because the other one didn't need to be replaced and so he just simply sealed it. Unfortunately, one more tile was damaged during the repair, and that one was also just sealed. According to a person who come and corrected George's job, sealing the tiles was only a temporary solution and was very poorly done anyway.
I've contacted George a few times and requested the sealed tiles to be replaced. Despite promises that, he would come and sorted that out for me, he's never showed up. I'm extremely disappointed!
As I've already mentioned above I hired someone else to correct the poorly done work. Honestly, I would never recommend this company to anyone. More...
