Dr. O’Brien and his team made sure that I was comfortable and had a complete understanding of my LASIK procedure through the entire process, from my initial pre-op evaluation to my post-ops. My vision went from 20/20 with glasses to 20/15, and I’m able to see things I was never able to see before, even with glasses. I met Dr. Reinauer two years ago while traveling to Florida from out of state. I had noticed a shadow developing in my left eye. After going to a hospital emergency room and then being transferred to a trauma center, it was suggested that I see an optometrist that was an hour away. It was late in the evening. A friend, instead, made an appointment for me the following day, at New Vision Eye Center. I was immediately admitted, seen by staff as well as Dr. Reinauer. He performed a successful surgery for a detached retina at 5:00 that evening. I set up an annual eye examination with Dr. Reinauer each year, during our travels. This year during my examination, he discovered two retinal tears and a partial detachment, in the other eye. He performed laser treatments an hour later and one the following week. Both again were successful. Someone was watching over me. I was in the right place, at the right time, with the right doctor. Dr. Reinauer and his staff are sensitive and understanding, as well as truly skilled professionals. Dr. Reinauer is knowledgeable in up-to-date procedures. He is an extremely talented physician. He makes himself available ‘call me at any time, if you have any questions or concerns at all—here is my number’. Who does that anymore? I am so fortunate to have Dr. Reinauer, in my life. After 2+ years of not being able to see through misdiagnosis from multiple opthamologists , I was finally diagnosed with a retinal detachment. Dr. Reinauer performed a scleral buckle on my detachment less than 24hrs after my diagnosis back in October 17’. I can’t say enough good things about him. He is the most KIND and patient Dr. I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I wish that all Drs had the type of compassion that he has. He was there for me every step of the way, literally just a phone call away day or night. Seriously, what other Dr. do you know that will call you back at 11pm to assure you that everything is going to be okay?! The whole staff at New Vision is just top notch. I haven’t had an unpleasant experience yet. I can proudly say that after 2 years of no vision, as of today I can finally see again! What inspired you to start your own business?
Having run successful businesses throughout my career, the key to starting my own business is the opportunity it affords me to have a desired work/life balance along with being in a sector that allows me to pass my experience and knowledge onto others.
Somewhat cliche I know, but everyone needs to know "when to go to the beach" and if I can help my clients achieve this (as well as myself) then great.
