Describe your creative process.
Our team of Paul and Alex, will reach out to you with a welcome phone/video call and to obtain your design brief. If you decide to choose Slice for your design work then we'll begin the creative process.
The is led by Alex who likes to start simple; with just a pen and paper. This is so we can quickly develop any early ideas we have and to see if they would be suitable for you and your project.
After we've examined a few early concepts we'll begin to look at any competitors within your same industry or sector to see how we can set you apart from the rest.
Then once we have an understanding of your industry and we have some ideas for the design we'll begin to develop ideas digitally, experimenting with different colours and typography.
Shortly after we'll then present the ideas back to you and gather any feedback so we can then try and improve the designs before signing off on the final version.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Most of the information we need will be collected in our initial phone/video call. However typical questions are:
- What industry do you work in?
- Who are your competitors?
- What kind of impression are you trying to portray to your customers or clients?
- Do you have an existing colour scheme or do you want to start fresh?
What do you love most about your job?
We love working with people from all different industries and sectors, from start-ups to large established businesses because this provides us with the fresh and new challenges that we relish.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our office in Hull is fully Covid-19 compliant with hand sanitising stations throughout and a full track and trace system in place.
