What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Theres no general secret, an excellent eye for detail and the rule of 3rd. Theres plenty advice out there to take a picture. My best photography comes from experience and I always had a passion for photography.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What timescales are involved, and whats your budget? The timescales for this is important as we can then work to a solution to getting the work done for that period of time. Budget is also important as this determines how your project is completed, what you expect and how we can work together to come to a solution.
Describe your creative process.
My creative process consists of lots of doodling, selecting an idea, evolving it, and then taking it to the design stage. Several stages after that we have a concept, and then speaking to my peers and client we can work through solutions and end product.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Lots of communication, the idea, name, brand, the end product. Communication is key when working through projects and making sure the client is onboard 100% of the time.
What do you love most about your job?
I love bringing ideas to life, feeding the design with emotion, colour, and creativity. This part of the process is my motivation, its the natural power that fuels my creativity.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy designing and meeting new people. I wanted to create a business where I am creating bespoke pieces of design.
Why should our clients choose you?
Having worked in the industry for the past 5 years and have extensive knowledge of what brings good design. I would say that I am adaptable to you, I will be able to work in most environments, I like to see what i'm dealing with, I like face to face meetings, and in general I'm a really good designer.
