What do you love most about your job?
We’re proud to be a local, family-run business based in Anlaby, West Hull and we genuinely care about the quality of service we deliver to each and every one of our clients across Hull and the East Riding towns and villages. We know from experience that great carers can make a genuine difference to our clients’ lives. Particularly when family can’t be there, we can provide much needed companionship and social interaction, as well as professional, practical support.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Sirius was created because we wanted to make a real difference in our local community – by providing the kind of high quality care service that everyone deserves, but sadly not everyone receives.
Why should our clients choose you?
We recruit our carers based on the ‘Mum Test’ - in addition to the standard recruitment processes you’d expect from a home care agency, at Sirius we only recruit people that we’d trust to look after our own family – we feel that’s the very best test we can do.
Our office team has almost 20 years’ experience in care, and over that time we’ve seen it all. As a result we firmly believe in person-centred care (as opposed to a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach that many other providers take) and these values form the basis of all that we do.
