The booking was easy enough and Steven Lunt was extremely helpful and led us through the process to secure the booking and ensure we had our items when we wanted. The guidelines were simple enough for us to follow and all forms were clear and concise. Pickup of the items was quick and efficient. We were kept updated when the items were received and put into storage and advised we were (thankfully) within volume.Even though there were a few delays in the items leaving the UK, you did keep us up to date and when anything was uncertain you aimed to get us a date as quickly as possible. When we were notified of the delivery date, our items did indeed turn up on time with no damage.As you can imagine we heard many horror stories about European relocation but Simpson's made it extremely easy and pain free for us to move to france. We just received our shipment today in Thomasville, GA from Leicester England. Excellent Service!!
We had to organize the move from the states so everything was done over google searches, the phone and emails but we managed to get back to England for the collection day. I was a little concerned because the Simpsons price came in so much more reasonable than some other companies but I couldn’t be happier.

The guys that turned up in Leicester were great, efficient, friendly - they carefully packed all the loose ends, labeled everything; The communication all the way through delivery today was clear & concise; The guys who dropped off today were so friendly & helpful, we didn’t have to lift a finger!; and the price for everything was really reasonable. Simpsons effected this move well and I would certainly recommend them to others. Yes, we had an unfortunate 'blip' when the container company (NOT Simpson's fault at all) sent the wrong container (from another shipper) and the whole house had to be transferred from one container to another. But Simpson's men heroically returned and did this with the minimum of fuss and with great efficiency.

Otherwise nothing could be faulted. Simpsons were business-like, friendly, efficient - and very economical. Their quotation was by far the cheapest (a factor in choosing them obviously) but service and standards were definitely not compromised (a reason to recommend them).

If I have one suggestion (an improvement to reach a 5 star rating) it is that when things 'go wrong' as in the container mix up for me, Simpsons could make better efforts to keep me in the loop and re-assure me. After a while it was hard to speak to anyone directly. Maybe indeed because there was nothing to say and the customer tends to worry unnecessarily.

Second time I have used them. Prompt reliable efficient service. Friendly and helpful delivery crew who came up with solutions to problems with large items.
They do tend to dump items assigned to the garage which requires a degree of sorting and also in spare rooms. Would like to see boxes included as it does add to cost.

I accepted a career in Norway from UK and then went to plan my move. That had to be the most stressful part by a mile. I was dumbfounded at the ridiculous quotes I was receiving from company’s.

I heard so many war stories from friends who had been through hell with removal company’s and one even ended up taking them to court!!!

I found Simpsons removals who has by far the best reputation so assumed the worst. I put in for a quote which was already better than most but a little out of my budget which other had sucked up immediately. This however changed when I received a call from Max in Dartford. I discussed what I needed to take etc and he talked me through it before providing a revised quote. My jaw dropped and it felt like a ton of weight lifted from my shoulders.

He gave a solid quote with the promise of zero hidden charges as long as I kept to within my parameters and stayed within their rules and regs re what I can and can not pack without declaration etc. No sales pitch or small talk, just a straight up, “we will pick it up and drop it off door to door”.

So, i received my paperwork to complete, I packed up and they came exactly on time and loaded up with no fuss.

I moved to Norway. Again, along cane the lorry on the agreed date and time and it was unloaded and unpacked....with no fuss......IT REALLY WAS THAT SIMPLE!!!!

I am so so so happy with everything. Max kept me updated throughout and ALWAYS responded within minutes of me emailing, and ALWAYS answered the phone.

I can not give enough praise to Simpsons and Max especially.

I saw a review on here re hidden costs and them making money that way via small print. Sorry but this is rubbish and I expect the same reviewer expects his belongings to be gold plated and delivered via a dove or something daft.

The fact is, Simpsons gave me a stress free experience. My belongings and boxes where in perfect condition and not even a dent.

I highly highly recommend them. My advice is to call them or at least follow up your quote with a call as the online quote is not accurate enough so don’t be put off by that. CALL THEM. More...

Very helpful pre-sales team who won the contract through excellent communication and customer support before the move. Movers themselves were extremely quick and efficient, seemed to take great care to look after and be respectful of personal belongings. Every box was labelled clearly with contents which was really helpful later on. On their suggestion, it's worth separating all essentials beforehand into a 'not to pack' area if belongings are going into storage as there is not always time on the day. Storage charges are very competitive. Delivery to a new house a few of months later was again extremely well managed with lots of supportive back-up contact. A nice touch: the same moving team leader (Paul - totally amazing superman!) was allocated which was really helpful as he actually remembered our belongings and this speeded up the move and furniture distribution. He also re-assembled our beds and 9 huge storage cratefuls were still moved in by early afternoon! Simpsons also refunded part month storage costs promptly. We would recommend Simpsons highly. I cannot recommend Simpsons removals enough. They were so helpful and accommodating during my mother’s recent move. A really big thank you to everyone involved in my move to Canada. What can I say. Fabulous job from start to finish. I was a little sceptical at first as the price was slightly on the higher end but now I know why. Ever heard the expression "you get what you pay for" well my experience justifies this expression. My colleague moved to Canada like me and went with a mover that quoted a cheap price. His goods haven't arrived yet and both our shipments were packed and taken away in the same week.
