I had quite a few quotes from different local companies before doing my loft conversion and was quite overwhelmed with the risk of choosing the best one! I chose Simply Easy because although they weren’t the cheapest option they worked really hard to get me a quote that would be accurate as possible ahead of time rather than avoiding ‘surprises’ later and explained the additions in the quote they thought were worthwhile investments (e.g bigger Velux for more light). I really trusted the team in those initial conversations and received very little messing about compared to competitors who I honestly felt gave me higher quotes because I was a single woman. Seb and the team managed the project initially then contracted it on to ICS. Initially I was worried about this but it worked brilliantly. My project manager, Stas, guided me through every decision and step and was a real expert. My builders were often on site early, ready to start on time and got the job finished bang on schedule. From our initial meeting Georgie and I felt extremely confident in your ability to deliver on what we required. Your presentation from the outset was informative, detailed and transparent. Having then met with Surrey General Builders, the main contractor, again we felt in safe hands with the abilities of Dean and Luan. Throughout the build there were a number of changes and adaptions to the building and the structure, mainly from our side but all of the team handled this with care, empathy and diligence. We always felt that anything that needed to be changed or upgraded, as it does throughout construction, the team remained fully focused and patient to achieve our dream goals. We as a group have created an incredible extension to our family home and are proud of the construction team and everyone involved. Finding quality and reliable construction teams are a real challenge, this we overcame by finding you. I am so pleased I went for my loft conversion with SimplyEasy Refurbs & ICS. They weren’t my first choice based on quote however while talking to them I understood they have professional team and are customer centrated. After few rounds of negotiations we agreed on scope, time and budget. All the works started on time, all trades involved were highly professionals, doing the works with consideration of my needs. I was a bit nervous after reading on other people experience with other firms. However it went smooth. The rest of the house wasn’t impacted. They always covered all unimpacted areas, put carpet protectors, dust sheets etc. Surprisingly for me, main work were completed ahead of the time just after 6 weeks. This of course happened because of brilliant work of project management team and fast feedback look. We had common WhatsApp group set up that eased communication. We are mega happy with simply easy refurbs, and I'll go into as to why. We had a 3 bedroom end of terrace house and they turned it into a 5 bedroom house thanks to a brilliant loft conversion. Sebastian was the first person from the company we met, he was friendly, professional and polite. Throughout the building process he was available to contact at any time and was helpful when needed, then we had the customer service team who would often call us every two weeks just to see how things were going. This was a nice touch and they too were available as and when needed. Then we come to the actual project and building work. Simply easy refurbs use a great team of builders who all seem very skilled at what they do, and within the building process from the start we were assigned a project manager and also added to a WhatsApp group which again made communication excellent. At the very end of the project we had some snagging issues which were dealt with perfectly too. The project was done in really good time without major delays and we have ended up with two lovely new bedrooms and a splendid shower room. We have now lived in our expanded home for about a year now and it is Brilliant and no issues relating to the loft conversion have come up at all. We will definitely use these guys again. More...

Simply Easy Refurbs (with Inspire Construction Solution) recently completed a full flat reconfiguration/renovation and loft conversion for us - we’re incredibly pleased with the outcome and very happy to recommend them. We were a little worried going into the process as we had no previous experience with renovations or building works and could not find anyone able to recommend a builder they’d worked with before, but the good reviews with Simply Easy speak for themselves and we’re glad we chose to work with them. Sebastian was super helpful (& patient!) from start to finish and the team was always easy to reach if we needed. We appreciated the regular check ins to discuss progress too. This was our first time doing any kind of construction as we just bought our first home. We were nervous going into it with so little experience of what red flags might be when selecting a company but in the end, we followed our gut and it did not steer us wrong. Our loft conversion was completed on time, to a great standard (other trades who came in to work on the rest of the flat would often comment that the work looked very well done). Our project manager was definitely a huge part of why our experience was so positive. Stas was great at communicating what was happening so we never felt the project was running away from us, and when the inevitable snafu happened with large projects like this we were always able to discuss how best to move forward. We had a hard deadline to move into the flat and Stas always had that in mind and kept things moving so construction was completed before our move date. We were so impressed with our loft build two years ago that we confidently called Seb and team back for our kitchen extension and would wholeheartedly recommend again. We were nervous given the size of the project and our lack of knowledge but the team effectively held our hand throughout with weekly catch-ups and a whatsapp group, reliable and incredibly hard-working trade teams, careful attention to detail and critically for me, honesty. We recently have our loft completed ( April 2023 ) and we are very happy with the end results. The quality of the work was of a high standard and not counting the windows upgrade that we had, the project was completed within budget. Stas was our project manager responsible for assembling a team of tradesmen whom were all very professional and polite. It was great working with all of them. Special thanks and credits to them all. Communication was also good throughout the whole duration of the project. At the onset of this project, Sebastian set up a WhatsApp group for everyone whom were involved with this project, and we find this a very effective way of communicating. Emma, the customer service manager would phone up fortnightly to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Thank you Emma. Cleanliness was also very good. As you can imagine, any major building works can get very messy. The builders would clean/sweep the whole place including the front of the property before they go home. We had the rest of the house all zipped up expecting a mountain of dust but were amazed as the old roof just disappeared without a trace and the new structure popped up in a couple of weeks. We got quotes from5 different companies before deciding on Simply Easy Refurbs this was mainly due to Sebastians slick presentation and his confidence he could do a good job for us. His quote was certainly not the cheapest but we also wanted a new roof as well and we wanted to give the job to someone who would use quality materials . There were some hurdles to get over but we managed to work through them with Sebastians cooperation. Our building team were from Ukraine and Lithuania and at times the language barrier was difficult for us and them . The planning at times was stilted and we had many discussions to ensure it was correct. You should look carefully at your drawings because we had issues with stairs location, windows locations etc….but thanks to the structural team managers assistance we worked it out. We also noticed they were going to put our bathroom where the walk in wardrobe was supposed to be , but that was reverted quickly after we pointed it out. Our project manager was frequently on hand to oversee issues and answer questions. He was under pressure most days but worked hard so get everything sorted . We were impressed with the sheer hard work by the builders and their prompt arrival for work and ability to work on weekends when we wanted it. They were all polite and efficient. The electricians , plasterer and carpenters were lovely to have around as I was a working from home on most days .They we’re always considerate . We were conscious and sensitive that many of the builders had family in Ukraine under stress and in danger.This made their work out out even more impressive. We have had numerous comments of appreciation from neighbours and are looking forward to moving up there once we finish the flooring . Simply Easy Refurbs have recently completed a loft conversion in our home in SE London and we are over the moon with the results. From the planning stages to execution, we were given excellent advice on what our loft could accommodate along with optional extras that may benefit the project further down the line. At no point did we feel pressured or obligated to follow advice, however we trusted our builders, Minde and Stas, and have ended up with two light, bright double bedrooms and a great shower room that maximised space, without compromising the first-floor layout of our home. The project has been finished to the highest standard, but equally important to us was the supportive customer service calls from Emma, and total transparency throughout the project, from Sebastian’s initial quote right through to completion. We were nervous undertaking the build in the current climate, however this well-connected company ensured our project ran smoothly from start to finish.
