Food is good, staff are attentive without being in your face only gave 4 stars because I'm not the greatest fan of Indian cuisine but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

Visited after work with some colleagues. Shared our starters of mixed pakora fish, chicken, mushroom and veg. it was a new menu for this week. A Mango Festival, curry and mango? A match made in heaven! The starters were delicious chicken pakora with mango salsa & huge king prawns with spicy hot mango sauce. We had two different chicken curries, one mild one hotter but both infused with fresh mango - sweet, hot, flavourful! Lovely food and restaurant. HOWEVER, the food is somewhat expensive compared to other restaurants. The Manager Asif was kind enough to still honor the Facebook competition which we had won about 6 months ago, which was a really nice gesture. We had booked in advance and requested a high chair - no problems atall. The staff were attentive without being invasive. The chicken karahi is highly recommended, probably one of the best chicken currys I've ever eaten, although maybe a bit on the small side. One annoying thing which has to be addressed is that the final bill was not clear. Prices were simply scribbled down without us knowing what they were for. For a restaurant which has been established for over 50 years, we found this very surprising that there was no proper billing. Even if the items had been written next to the actual items, then this would have been satisfactory. The customer has to know what they are paying for, as you can't expect them to remember everything from the menu. Apart from this, a lovely all round experience. Thanks to Asif and staff. More...
