I'm Sherry, a qualified and experienced counsellor based in Brighton and Hove. I offer short and long-term counselling to young people and adults looking for psychological and emotional help in support of good mental health by video or face to face.
If you've arrived here, you are already thinking about counselling. You might be feeling depressed, anxious or overwhelmed and finding it difficult to cope with the challenges of life. Perhaps you have experienced a recent loss, had a sudden change of circumstances or are struggling with relationships. Maybe you don't even know what's troubling you. Research shows positive change happens when there is a good match between client and counsellor. It’s difficult to choose a counsellor or know what to expect from counselling without having a face-to-face meeting. This is why I offer a free 30-minute introductory session where we can meet. You can then ask any questions to help you in your search for a therapist and decide whether we are a good fit.
