We met Shane tonight for our evaluation and we were so impressed with everything he told us! He helped up to understand why our dogs may behave in certain ways and how we can start to correct these behaviours. Brilliant service, professional, would highly recommend Sheldon Dog Services to everyone. Shane was lovely, friendly, down to earth, realistic, honest, felt at ease and comfortable from the second he came to the house, very knowledgable and Bruno loved him. Shane gave me a lot of helpful advice when walking Bruno and loads of tips and ideas for me and Bruno to do together at home and outdoors, afterwards we took Bruno for a walk where Bruno decided to show me up by being a good boy on the lead while Shane was walking him . Shane came out to meet our Bichons Teddy and Pippa. he talked to us both about do's and dont's...which we had never thought of; and invaluable. We have been practicing these and are noticing a difference, although still on-going. I am working on his walking on the lead as he barks at every dog he sees. slowly but surely he is getting better after following Shames advice, now looking forward to some walks so they can both socialise. We couldn’t recommend Shane highly enough. He accommodates is in every way he can, and even fits Moose in with less than 24 hours notice. His advice and tips are so valuable to us. I met Shane last summer when Bella was a puppy. We were welcomed onto the social walks and I enjoyed the company of the other walkers. This year Shane is helping me with some behaviour Bella displays in some situatons. During our evaluation he gave me knowledge, encouragement and positivity. Shane came round yesterday and gave some great information and advice on the dogs behaviour, why they do it and ideas for stopping unwanted behaviours. Both Coco and Luna were eating out of his hand within minutes. Today I took Coco on a dog walk with other members. Again Shane gave great advice on how to get her to walk better. Everyone was friendly, no judgements and encouraging. I have started changes at home and am already seeing good results from both. Cant wait to attend dog walks next week with each dog in turn. ****Updated**** Today was really good! We took Jake to the dog park after some convincing from Shane and Courtney! We are really glad we took him! He has never really had proper off lead socialisation with other dogs and he loved it He was better than we thought he would be! Aswell as getting very muddy rolling around in the muddy puddles It put us at a lot of ease aswell with him around other dogs! Consultation for my troublesome dogs after I'd been on some social walks and Shane went above and beyond; gave lots of excellent advice that has helped with immediate results and I really can't find a fault for anything - extremely polite, very knowledgeable, and has gave a wealth of information that will be useful for the entirety of my dogs lives. Great service!!!!! I just want to say Shane is a very passionate trainer who cares and has loads of love for the dogs that he works with . He gave us loads of advise on the evaluation. I haven’t got round to writing my review yet so it’s well over due(I’m sorry it’s so late!)Shane and his team are absolutely amazing, he is genuinely one of the nicest guys I’ve met and couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone with a dog that needs a helping hand. I got my puppy Donny from him in December last year, had soo much going on since then and he’s been amazing. I fell in love with Donny as soon as I met him, but because I had never been a dog owner I didn’t think I would be able to take donny home. Shane saw the love we have for him and trusted us to adopt him. Donny is my second child and I can’t thank Shane and his team enough for everything he did/still does for us. Donny was 3 months old when we got to take him home and he was hands down the best and well behaved puppy ever(not even being biased!) Sheldon dog services have so much passion for what they do, and without them I wouldn’t have my beautiful pup. What can I say? Shane is a relaxed friendly guy who has taught me so much about my dog in only a couple of reactive walks. Shilo will react to other dogs and people at over 100 metres away so can be very difficult to reassure at times. But occasionally like today, he reacted 3 times in total with 5 dogs. He listened, followed instructions, put his trust in me, and we were both much happier and relaxed. He has a long way to go but I know he can do it with Shane's help. More...

Shane and Des came for an initial assessment of my young GSD who is extremely boisterous and attention seeking! As well as being reactive to other dogs. They were really understanding and not at all judgemental and offered simple, practical advice to help. I’ve been using the tips since and have already noticed a difference! It was nice to speak to trainers who had been in similar positions and who weren’t there just for a hard sell of services. Genuinely passionate about dogs and didn’t claim to have quick fix miracle solutions - just realistic advice and ongoing support as and when helped. when we first had our Arnie, he had never been around other dogs, so he kept biting at them.... only been doing this a few weeks and now he walks alongside other dogs, obeys more commands, and is constantly making better choices and today, after only s few weeks, he was face to face with another dog on the walk and was playing, first time I'd ever seen him play with another dog and not go for them since we rescued him some months ago. ..exceptionally friendly handlers and walkers and really down to earth, all about the better quality of life for the dogs. thanks to Shane and all involved for the experience so far, and the progress we've made. We had our evaluation recently about issues with our Dane . I cannot believe in 3 days that my pooch seems so much calmer with the help/tips shane has given us . . we have a long way to go but i cannot recommend this guy enough he is so dedicated to his work with dogs and really knows his stuff . Massive massive hugs to the whole team. I have seen big changes in Sam (my 18 month old Rottweiler) since Wendy has been coming. still a way to go yet as the jumping and biting hasn’t stopped but is getting better. He walks by my side without pulling, he now even lies down on command Wendy is a fantastic lady and I cannot thank her enough for giving me the confidence to help Sam. I was lucky enough to be chosen by Shane to buy one of his beautiful puppies. When I bought Ice, Shane had already spent a lot of time training him, so I literally got a dream puppy, so well behaved it’s unbelievable in one that is so young. My friends are astonished by his wonderful behaviour. But Ice is still a puppy and has so much to learn, and that is where Shane and Sheldon Dog Services really come into play as they help and guide me all the time to be the best mummy I can be to Ice.
