Great facilities, great staff, fantastic equipment. Leila has to be one of the best Pilates instructor's in the North East (if not the best) who not only motivates and encourages you but has a fantastic understanding of what you are trying to achieve.

Absolutely brilliant place in my opinion! Leila is a superb instructor and exceedingly knowledgeable. I have been a member for just over twelve months and at the time of joining was one step away from a total hip replacement (no pun intended) . ...her advice and application of Pilates system is superb. Needless to say my core strength and posture has improved and no new hip required in the near future. All her instructors for all of the classes and PT 1:1's are brilliant too and totally dedicated to each individual. The equipment is well maintained and of a high quality in all studios. Love this place. I joined about 18 months ago and was in constant pain and discomfort with my Sacroiliac Joint. Through Pilates, reformer and some back clinic I haven't been bed bound with it since. I didn't realise how much I relied on my big muscles and how hard I was on my joints till I started Pilates. My body is stronger from my core, my back is now protected by my ability to engage the right muscle groups and I have a much more feminine shape and posture. Amazing boutique gym in the heart of Durham. Easy to get to with easy parking. You feel welcome from the moment you first step over the door. Each and every member of the team goes above and beyond to help you fulfill your personal journey. Whatever shape or size we are, we are made to feel comfortable immediately. The classes are strong and the trainers take the time to teach you not just get you through each lesson. I have learnt so much about my body and continue to each time I come to Shaping Futures. The PT sessions are amazing and add to the classes on offer. It feels like a second home and I love spending time here and developing my fitness.
