I can highly recommend the Oxford Shaolin Mantis School of Kung Fu as an excellent martial art club for children. The friendly instructors are very dedicated and the level of their teaching is extremely high (they regularly travel to Hong Kong to learn with the master there). They make it fun for the kids and encourage them to achieve the best they can, but without being over strict. Shaolin Mantis Kung Fu is an effective martial art with lots of techniques, a good mix of striking and grappling arts and it is great for the kids' concentration and focus. Both of my kids enjoy every lesson and are progressing quickly upwards through the belts. This is a genuine martial arts club, not like some of the other clubs out there that seem to be more of a business. I have been looking for a true Kung fu Dojo in Oxford last year and luckily come across Mantis Kung fu classes organised By Sifu Peter and Richard . It's just not been one year my son has learned quite of lot of techniques. Most importantly he has become very disciplined and no doubt very strong as well. I have taken my son to a fair few martial arts clubs round Oxford before coming here, and it's by far the best one if you want your child to learn something and not just get belts for attending!

Absolutely first class my kids love the trainers couldn't ask for more from a trainer the discipline and effort they provide is a pleasure to see , the teachers are totally dedicated and it shows there passion for the art form , cheap enough not out to make money from you really want to teach the art I have two kids training and soon to be 3 keep up the great work guys I might even sign up for a adult class !!
