We’d just moved and needed some decorating done quickly and found SBM on Google and contacted them. Bogdan came round a few days later and showed a real interest in listening to what we wanted and took pictures and gave us advice on what we could do. He sent a price within our budget and we decided to go with him. He had some free time so started earlier than planned. Him and his team were prompt, professional, polite and friendly throughout working around us and causing no disruption. They also barely stopped and stayed late and this meant they finished ahead of the agreed schedule. They also replaced some electrical switches that needed making good. They cleaned everything as they went and left the areas they worked in immaculate. The decorating and woodwork they did looks amazing and Bogdan even came back to assist with some hanging of rails and mirrors afterwards. He arrived on time as agreed and simply cracked on with a wide range of tasks - fitting multiple louvre blinds, replastering and repainting holes in walls, wiring in new light fittings and a motion sensor, wall mounting a TV and building and fitting a new shelf - all done to a very high standard using his own tools. We hired Bogdan to completely redecorate our new home, which was in much need of a complete do over. Bogdan impressed us from our initial meeting with his thoroughly detailed plan, recommendations and quote. His attention to detail was unmatched by any of the other quotes we'd received. In terms of the work, Bogdan completely redecorated a 3 bedroom house, fitted various wood works, fitted new sockets and switches and installed new flooring. Bogdan was flexible throughout the project, agreeing to pick up additional pieces of work that he didn't initially quote for. Bogdan kept us up to date daily, kept the house safe and worked exceptionally flexibly around other contractors over a period of 3 weeks. Bogdan (and his team) were always friendly, professional and nothing was ever too much trouble - even when we changed our minds about things mid-job. Bogdan kept within projected time scales and was very transparent about pricing. Our new home has been completely transformed; it's all down to Bogdan and his exceptionally high standards which never faltered.

Although notably more expensive than other quotes we had received for the same job, Bogdan's attention to detail and general dedication made it every bit worth it.

He came across very professional and made a few suggestions straight away unlike other couple of painters/decorators we saw. We can't praise Bogdan and Valentina enough for the outstanding work they did painting and decorating our new home just before Christmas. They worked to a very high standard and were an incredibly efficient team – the entire house was given a facelift in just a week. Moreover, Bogdan was extremely helpful in flagging and resolving adjunct issues such as readjusting stubborn doors internally and externally, clearing blocked guttering, fixing a damaged wardrobe, repairing a dangerous step, resolving problematic staircase lighting... nothing was too much trouble. Bogdan also advised on how best to protect new carpeting from builder footfall and also on how to minimise costs on fitting new electrics. All of his suggestions were sensible and resulted in cost-effective improvements.
