I started talking to Sally when I was going through a very low point in my life. Before having depression I never really understood or appreciated how crippling it could be and how important mental health is. I spoke to Sally for about 16 months every week religiously. She helped me to construct the tools to process, analyse, and figure out life’s problems while at the same time help me to work though years of trauma I had been ignoring. She’s a very special person, she helped me to regain my mental strength and a new perspective on life. I can’t recommend her enough! More...

There simply aren't enough words to explain how helpful and effective Sally's practice has been for me. I first reached out to Sally during a time of personal mental and physical concern due to a dire change of personal circumstances. Desperate for direction and stuck without a way to make sense of it all, I reached out to the first local Therapist I saw online. And what a good decision that turned out to be. From the first meeting to the last, Sally ensured that every session was approached without judgement or bias, giving as much time as needed to listen to my thoughts and concerns, whilst still engaging me in constructive conversation and practices to use in my own time to help understand and overcome my problems. I would like to stress that I'm only in my early 20's. I had always been apprehensive of the thought of therapy given both my age and the typical preconceptions associated with it. Now, since seeing first hand the levels of direction and personal understanding Sallys practice has to offer, especially to young people my age, I would highly, highly recommend it to anyone. There are no strict schedule obligations, no judgement and no 'set' number of sessions needed to attend. I would simply schedule my sessions based on what seemed right for me and work through each one accordingly. I feel happier, healthier and with a much clearer understanding of myself and the personal tools needed to deal with whatever the future may have in store...Thank you, Sally. More...

Q&As

Helping a clients to make change a reality in their lives.

Having received meaningful therapy after a bereavement, I decided to train as a counsellor so that I could help others in the same way.

I offer affordable therapy that is tailored to the individual.

I worked solely by video calls during the pandemic. Since April of 2022 I’ve been offering clients the choice of coming in person or having therapy by video calls. About 75% of my clients are now attending in person.

I work remotely only until such time as it is deemed safe by the government to work in person again. At that time, I will be able to offer both in person and remote working, so that clients will have a choice.

Services

A structured walk with client(s) in a peaceful area. A chance to talk and explore nature. This can reduce anxiety, lift depression and be part of treatment for agorophobia.
