I hired Safe Simple Secure, and on the whole a very good job was done. This can be summarised as follows:+ Competitive price+ Fitted installation into a tight schedule+ Highly competent installer+ Replaced panel with upside down graphicHowever, I was disappointed with the clarity of the estimate. I asked for a broadband connected Pyronix Euro 46 panel. As far as I was concerned, the estimator understood this to be a wired connection (he even mentioned I might need a switch, which I agreed was a possibility) and was sent an estimate with a line item "IP module and mobile app". I took this to be a wired LAN connection.However, what was installed was a WiFi module which I hadn't realised until post installation. When I queried about this, I was told I could get the module replaced for £75+VAT or when I change broadband provider I could pay them £35+VAT to change the SSID and password. I found this to be disappointing leaving me the following options if I ever change broadband provider:+ Change the new providers SSID and password to the previous+ Never change broadband provider+ Pay £35+VAT to for them to change the SSID and password each time I change provider+ Pay £75+VAT to switch out for a wired optionI find this disappointing. I am highly technically literate, and the description on the estimate did not differentiate between LAN and WiFi. This should be made very explicit in future invoices to prevent future confusion.Update: To confirm - the installer did honour what they said below and installed the LAN module free of charge and sent a M&S voucher, so I've updated the review score to reflect this. Safe Simple Secure replaced two buttons on a rather old stair entryphone system for which I struggled to find parts online, and sorted out a problem with the volume on one handset in the stair. Katie in the office was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. The electrician arrived promptly and carried out the work quickly with good humour, and explained fully what was being done (it proved to be more complicated than I'd expected because someone had been gluing bits of the system together!). We had a number of quotes from different companies for CCTV installation however, as soon as Matt came in to do a survey I felt instantly at ease. He didn’t try to bambozle me with jargon, and kept it straight forward and simple. The quote itself was well priced against other companies, and we decided to proceed. The engineers arrived when stated, and did a fantastic job. There was no mess left behind, and you can’t even see the cables which have been installed.
