we just got my daughters higher maths result yesterday and she got an A . Not just a scraped A even , like a solid A . This is a fabulous result for her and I’ll tell you why . . When she did her maths prelim back in January she failed it out the park . We even thought she should drop it as a subject . Even although she’s at a very good school she just wasn’t ‘getting ‘ maths , although she’s a bright girl the maths wasn’t ‘ going in ‘ . We asked the school if they recommended a maths tutor but they’re not allowed to . I saw Ross’ s advert and called him and he was able to fit my daughter in to his schedule . Ross was able to explain things much better for her and really helped with past papers and extra questions and loads of guidance and tips . My daughter also put in a lot of work and past papers and tbh there’s really no substitute for that too . Ross obviously loves his maths and more importantly can explain it to high school kids cos he’s quite young himself ! He seems to have a very gentle patient manner about him which is good coz I wouldn’t have that level of patience lol ! I think it’s important to stress that a lot of the motivation needs to come from the child themselves and the desire to do well and do the best they can . A maths tutor cannot sit the exam for them or guarantee a certain outcome , but they can and do help enormously with exam technique and confidence . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ross . Thankyou once again . More...
