What inspired you to start your own business?
The need to change the construction and engineering industries as women are underrepresented, especially those from BAME communities, so I knew for me to reach the milestones I had set I had to work for myself without restrictions and genderism.

We are a female-run business, and females in this industry are underrepresented. We have a lot to offer and want to balance the playing field.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We try to inspect properties when it is empty. We also advice clients to live the windows open before and after we inspect. Full PPE.

EPC
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a legally valid document which provides an energy efficiency rating (displayed on an A-G scale) in relation to a property’s running costs. This rating will take into account the potential energy performance of the property itself (the fabric) and its services (heating, lighting, hot water etc).
In addition to this, the EPC document will also show:
✅ a breakdown of a property’s energy performance
✅ its environmental impact
✅ recommendations for improvements
✅ estimated energy use alongside potential savings
Non-domestic EPC
A Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) displays the energy performance of a commercial building on an A+ to G scale (A+ indicating net zero and G being the worst performing).
The rating is based on the estimated carbon emissions of the building, unlike EPCs for existing dwellings which are based on a property’s estimated running costs.
In addition to this, the EPC document will also show:
✅ a breakdown of a property’s energy performance
✅ recommendations for improvements (available as a separate document)
Disrepair and CPR 35 surveys
Our Chartered Surveyors will carry out inspections on properties for clients who are either private or social housing tenants to determine if the property is in disrepair under UK Legislation. This is followed by advice on how to get the landlord to repair it.
What is included?
1. Site inspection
2. Identification of defects covered by UK Legislation and Building Regulations.
3. Report, including tenant or landlord liability on repairs, and recommendations on remedial works.

Party wall
A party wall surveyor provides a specialist role in resolving disputes between property owners under the Party Wall etc Act 1996. The Party wall surveyors have a duty
to the Act rather than to the individuals appointing them and they resolve matters in dispute in a fair and practical way.
What is included in the appointment of a party wall surveyor?
1. Serving of notices.
2. Issuing of letters.
3. Site inspection.
4. Conflict resolution.
5. Schedule on condition.
6. Award known as the party wall agreement.

Structural Surveys
Structural surveyors carry out structural surveys, they are usually commissioned on listed buildings, old properties, and buildings that have been constructed in an unusual way because these types of properties typically have defects that may impact the structural integrity of the building such as cracks or subsidence.
It is also good practice to have a structural survey done for property adaptations or renovation as the removal of walls etc can also impact the structural integrity of the building or site.
What is included by a structural surveyor?

3. Drawings (by request only)
4. Report, including defects assessment with remedial recommendations.
5. Insurance and mortgage reports.
Domestic Retrofit
Our Domestic Retrofit Assessment is a report that focuses on a whole-house approach to energy efficiency, including the condition of the dwelling and the recording of defects.
What is included?
1. Site inspection, including building design, construction and defect analysis and other assessments: occupancy, ventilation, and energy performance.
2. Report, including measures to make the entire property more energy efficient as well as remedies for defects found.
