I set up my own business as a sole trader 3 years ago and initially thought I could handle my books myself.
I had no idea how confusing it would be along with the stress and worry of getting something wrong.

I was confident in my business idea and was ready to set up a small business, but had absolutely no idea at all about finance, compliance, tax or accounting.

He advised me on what I needed to know to set up the company and continues to always be approachable and patient with my many (stupid) questions, answering me in easy-to-understand language without confusing jargon.

What inspired you to start your own business?
My greatest inspiration was helping new businesses get off the ground and start on the right foot when it came to their financial data. This inspired me to start my own accounting firm and help clients achieve their goals full time, whether it be a new or an established business.

My firm is a predominately remote service firm but we flex around your schedule and needs. Some of my clients like to receive services face to face and we are very happy to accommodate as well as see client outside the general 9-5.

Keeping my business remote has helped keep everyone I work with safe and following government guidelines strictly is an absolute must.
