How long have you been in business?
I started working part time for a well known cleaning company in 2016. Six months later I decided to cut the middle man out and bravely set up by myself.
I ended up being full time within another 6 months with waiting lists! Hence the need to start recruiting.
Therefore I have over 4 years experience.?
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Yes, all branded products, cloths and clean mops. Due to current restrictions I will need to use customers own hoover.
What do you love most about your job?
The sense of satisfaction when I step away from a completed task and enjoy what I have achieved.
Also knowing that I am helping a busy working professional, mum or elderly person means a lot.
I am very proud of my varied customer base.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve always had a passion for cleaning and thought I could put it to good use.
I’m also ex forces so I enjoy making things shine and sparkle! Plus my ironing is razor sharp. ?
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a good reputation and I am extremely reliable. I have a small team of cleaners so there’s sufficient cover for holidays.
Each cleaner has a different hourly rate depending on experience so there’s a cleaner for certain budgets and varied cleaning requirements.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I no longer use my own hoover, I provide mops with washable heads.
We also come with disposable aprons, gloves and masks.
Each house have their own cloths which are disinfected and then washed.
We use bleach, Dettol and disinfectant which are proven products to kill Covid-19.
Regular General Cleans
A general clean will consist of the following:
Kitchen- hob and splash backs, work tops, sink, cupboard fronts, small appliances cleaned and the fronts of large appliances. Floor is hoovered and mopped. Bin emptied and cleaned.
Bathroom- Full clean of the suite to include walk in showers and screens, mirrors, heated towel rails, chrome accessories, floor and bins.
Bedrooms and lounge- full hoover and dusted including mirrors. Sofas plumped.
Bed making is available on request.
Stairs, hall and landing- hoovered and dusted.
Deep clean
Bathroom- limescale removal, grout work and full tile clean.
Kitchen-Internal clean of microwave and fridge.
Windows- Frames and blinds.
Woodwork- washing of skirting boards, doors and frames.
Pull out of furniture in lounge and bedrooms to hoover and dust.
Ironing
Ironing is only actioned by myself.
Either within your clean time or we can come to an arrangement where I take a basket home.
