Bit pricey for 15 minutes work

I asked Edward to strengthen the edge of the roof that covers the tower of my house back in July 2021. After inspecting the property, he gave me a quote which I thought was very reasonable because it also included fixing/pointing the 3 tiles covering the top of the tower. The following day, he arrived on time and took a couple of hours to put metal rings to strengthen the edge of the roofs. The job was done well and efficiently because there have been 6 months since then, with many days of heavy raining, and still I do not see any issues and leaks in the roof. Overall i am very satisfied with his job also because his fix also looks quite nice, i.e. pointing to skilful work man. I hope his fix will last for some time. While up on the top of the roof, Edward also examined the tiles and found they did not need to be fixed. He decided to reduce the quote by £20. I found him to be a nice person, and I hope i can call on him again next time should there be other problems with my house roof. Thanks Edward and happy new year. More...

A great job despite access being tricky.

It was a small job (felt had come adrift on the roof) but these are often the most difficult to get fixed. Edward was quick to respond, polite, business-like and above all climbed the roof and did a proper fix.
