Working with John for the past 3 years has been life-changing for me. As a middle-aged unfit woman I have learned so much about my body’s limitations - and that I am capable of so much more than I realised. Kind, knowledgeable, and supportive I would highly recommend John as a PT and nutritionist. More...

Everything you need in a personal trainer. Pushes you and slowly increases weights etc where necessary but at the the right stages. Perfect

John also does PT and regular circuits sessions via Zoom. He tailored my PT programme to my needs (functional fitness and endurance) and since I had very little equipment at home, he adapted the exercised based on what was available. Really helpful to stay in shape while we were all stuck at home! More...

John is friendly and makes training fun! He also tailors to your own personal needs and abilities. I look forward to my training sessions and the weigh ins where I can see the progress being made.

It is a balance trying to fit in work and exercise. PT with RHB at home fits my circumstances. John has managed the sessions so I remain in my comfort zone but has gradually stretched my ability.
We have addressed cardio, strength and nutrition and I am making progress in all areas and can see and feel the improvement.
I definitely recommend working with John. He is flexible with sessions if need to postpone and the payment regime is great.
First time I have had regular exercise which is no sweat....well no stress.

John is a patient PT with a very good understanding of how to achieve positive results. Only been training with rock hard bodies for 5 weeks and can already see and feel the benefits.

I've been training with RHB for three months now and I'm fitter, healthier, more toned and less 'fatty' and I'm now starting phase 2 of my training where we start upping the ante. John puts together a tailored plan to suit your goals and circumstances, and I'm really enjoying seeing the results! More...

I started to use R.H.B to get my fitness up more for my karate training. Not only has my overall fitness improved but i really enjoy the physical challenge every week!
Having your personal trainer come to the house makes extra exercise so much easier.
I would highly recommend Rock Hard Bodies to both beginners and the more experienced.

How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
It is probably the number one factor. You are what you eat. Eating a balanced diet can transform your health and fitness, reducing your risk of developing a variety of debilitating diseases, while improving your mood, energy levels, weight, skin... I cannot overemphasize the importance of proper nutrition, especially in the context of fitness training.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Good, solid nutritional advice. Weights, interval training, plyometrics, Pad drills. We'll assess what techniques will allow us to best achieve your goals at your consultation.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistency. Repetition is the mother of success (and failure too actually) If you do the right things, again and again, you will succeed. If you do the wrong things, again and again, the opposite applies. All you need to do is learn what the right things are and start doing them. This is where I can help you. I will supply knowledge, support, motivation and personally tailored personal training sessions, you supply the effort and reap the results...
What do you love most about your job?
The pained screams of my clients! (Jokes) I really love the first time my client starts to realise that their dreams are becoming a reality. The first time they finish a set of an exercise they never managed to finish before. The smile spreading across their face when they see their hard work has been reflected in their results on measurement day. It's a great feeling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have struggled with health issues for many years and the one thing that really gave me back some quality of life was exercise. Fitness instructors and personal trainers have given me more than doctors ever have. I wanted to do the same for others.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I've been there. I'm not a 19-year-old fresh from college who will tell you that because I run half marathon's on my lunch break that you can too. I know how hard it is to balance career and family commitments, perhaps even disability or ill health, and all the other things that fill our lives because I'm doing it too.
