I would highly recommend Andy I completed the 8 week programme earlier this year and have decided to carry on with 2 sessions per week which has helped me drop 3 dress sizes, change my body shape, increase my stamina/strength and improve my mental wellbeing!

I have been training with Andy for 6 years now and can't tell you what a massive difference it has made to my fitness routine. I had gone from being a regular gym and circuit class goer as well as a regular runner a few years before that to someone who, with the arrival of children, had decided there wasn't time in my life to keep fit. My wife decided to treat me to some PT sessions with Andy and he got me back on track by making me realise that there are lifestyle choices we can make which allow us to have both a life outside the gym and a regular, manageable fitness routine to make us feel good about ourselves. I would never have used weights on my own - but Andy, with a lot of patience, has taught me how to gradually improve my fitness and my strength whilst controlling my weight and understanding what is good and what is bad about my diet! Don't get me wrong - I don't always stick to the plan - but by not getting so stressed about it when I do go wrong - I can quickly bring myself back into line and keep up with the challenges Andy sets me. I've gone from being someone who couldn't do a single pull-up to making it across a full set of monkey bars at the last obstacle race we did - an achievement I will never forget - thanks to Andy! �� More...

I started training with Andy Hillier as I wanted to lose some weight and generally tone up. I already have an active lifestyle, including riding and competing horses and felt I wanted to find other ways of keeping fit to improve my riding skills.

Andy has hugely improved my fitness and introduced me to so many ways of gaining muscle and losing weight. Every session is fun and interesting, he will work you hard but that gets you the results and he supports you and pushes you at just the right moments! It's a great atmosphere at Reasons Fitness and you are always made to feel very welcome.

I am so glad I chose Andy, he has changed my way of thinking about fitness and i'm excited about carrying on with what I've learned and what the future holds!

Been training with Andy for several years now. Has helped me with my general fitness as well as specific goals such as training for a half marathon. Sessions are good fun and always varied! Andy has great humour and a lot of patience!!! I had never done weight training before training with Andy and I know I would have quit without his encouragement.

Definitely recommend training with Andy!

I have been coming to see Andy for a few years now and have a PT session once a week .I look forward to this and Andy works me harder than I would do on my own and I ensure I visit the gym between appointments. I had a knee operation a year ago and am pretty much back to normal with Andys help.I also play lots of tennis and Andy has me doing specific exercises to ensure I am tennis fit.
I would recommend Andy and will carry on with my weekly visits

I did an 8 week program with Andy - hard work but good fun. Andy is a really good motivator and trainer. Sessions were always varied and kept me on my toes. I use to dread going but always came out of the gym with a big smile on my face.

I've been training with Andy for over 2 years now and continue to really enjoy our sessions each week. During our time working together he has helped me increase both my strength and fitness levels, which has really helped improve my performance with competitive cycling and badminton. I decided to sign up with Andy as I needed to lose weight and improve my health and fitness. I was somewhat nervous as I had never considered personal training before, but knew I needed help with motivation. I needn't have worried as I have found working with Andy hard work but fun. Each session is different and it has been good to learn new things. I have also had a few injuries to overcome and Andy has worked with me on this. My diet was not good when I started but with Andy's advice on both food and exercise, I have lost 2 stone and dropped 2 dress sizes.I would highly recommend Andy to anyone who is seriously thinking of improving their health. I had always been a bit intimidated of Personal Training before I started training with Andy as I wasn’t sure what it really involved. Now 5 years down the line it was the best decision I have ever made. I work so much harder in our sessions than I would in a class or by myself. Training with Andy has been a brilliant experience and completely changed my outlook on fitness and my lifestyle. I can honestly say it’s the first time I’ve really enjoyed going to the gym. Having frequented the gym in the past, I’ve always had the mentality I would reach ‘that goal’ by spending hours chained to the treadmill or the cross trainer. A couple of sessions with Andy and how wrong was I! Andy’s sessions are varied and tough, but fulfilling, with a mix of cardio and weights factored in. Andy has a great knack to push you just to your limit, so you leave a session feeling completely accomplished and driven (if very worn out!) Andy is clearly an expert in his field, in terms of his knowledge and skills, yet completely supportive and approachable. I have no hesitation in recommending Andy, so much so my husband has already completed an 8 week course of sessions with Andy and has seen a dramatic improvement in his fitness. I came to Andy looking to lose weight, and knew personal training would offer me structure in the form of exercise sessions and weigh ins as well as nutritional advice. I lost over 5 stone in under year whilst training with Andy, but that is just the tip of the iceberg of the positives that came out of training. Training with Andy gave me a new outlook on training and life. At the start, I was very nervous to step into the gym and using weights was completely new to me. To have Andy there to support and advise helped me overcome these hurdles. Andy delivers varied, fun, exciting yet challenging sessions (I don't think I ever did the same session!). Over a year ago I visited Andy to help with my core strength after suffering two prolapsed discs. I'm now back up to strength and lifting weights I thought I'd never achieve again.
