I phoned Rob and asked if he could build me a bird-table to wrap around my garden tree. He was friendly and very helpful. He called round within 48 hours and built the bird-table exactly as specified and fitted it to perfection . He is honest and his rates are very fair and reasonable...A rare commodity today.. Rob is a true professional and a skilled Carpenter, and in my opinion is really second to none ! I highly recommend him.If I could give him 10 Stars I would have done ! Thank you Rob. We would not hesitate to recommend RD Carpenter.He takes a really Professional approach to all aspects of the task in hand,is dedicated to providing a service which is second to none,and does it all with a smile,all this at a competitive price and in a time that many would find hard to believe,he just gets on with the job,won’t even stop for tea breaks. Really happy with the service provided by Rob at RD Carpentry. Rob made us besboke storage units, fitted new cupboard doors on our wardrobes, replaced our skirting boards and door frames downstairs and hung new internal doors. Just had our staircase refurbished with new banisters, newel posts and handrails in oak. I received a quote from Robbie as well as another tradesman. Robbie had been recommended by a friend who praised his work. Robbie's quote came in cheaper, and he said he would have the job done in less time, so I chose him. I'm so glad I did, as it looks great! Used R D Carpentry to complete some work on refurbishing a tired old mahogany staircase that a previous company had started and let me down badly. Rob did a great job, very profesional, turned up exactly when he said he would , even called one morning to say he was stuck in traffic and might be a bit late.So pleased with his work, we also got him to fit new internal oak doors and, he applied the correct finish to them.Would not hesitate in using him again or recommending him to anyone that needs any carpentry/joinery work carried out. We had very creaky stairs that needed sorting out and I wanted a cupboard put in under the stairs, he did an absolutely fabulous job on both, our stairs are a million times quieter when going up and down them and the cupboard door is beautifully finished. He made the door match our other internal doors by putting grooved panels in it! I would highly recommend his work. He completed the job within the 2 day time frame as he predicted, he was also very tidy and cleaned up after himself. A thoroughly nice man too. More...
