The half job was done at double the price. Wouldn't be recommending and won't be using them again. One hour trip made to get the 2T oil for the tool.

Apologies for a late response as I have been busy relocating. In response to what the customer have written, I must say I am highly surprised by his negative comments as I always pride myself in being honest and flexible. I always discuss the requirements and prices on a site a few days before the work starts ,so everything is clear and straight forward and I followed the exact same procedure on this occasion too. The customer requested general garden tidying up trimming and pruning of a few bushes and a hedge . On a day of the actual job , this customer changed his mind and requested for two around 30 year old tall & overgrown hedges to be significantly trimmed instead. For this kind of job a proper chainsaw was required, which was not needed on the original job. I then informed the customer that this job may require more than 8 h and I need to purchase engine and chain oil for the chainsaw , to which he agreed. As for charging double, the customer was charged even less than the original quote for 8 h job.
