Can’t recommend Quality Constructions any higher had a full garage roof with side porch completely replaced. Quality workmanship, kept me updated with everything throughout the whole process. How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Look at the walls to see if there any cracks if no cracks should be ok to convert , if cracks can be seen it could be subsidence, it can still be converted but needs addressing first, so give us a call and we can give you some advice and a free quotation.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Initial free visit from us ,then we go through your needs and email you drawings and a quotation, then on acceptance we deal with every aspect from building regulations through local building control to ordering the products required and arranging your conversion.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
The main things is the access and the height inside of the roof inside, basically if both are ok to building regulations it should be good to go.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
First design your conversion then we contact the local building control and arrange a site visit ,the planning officer will advise us what materials are suitable and they will visit several times to verify what was agreed has been implemented, after the finish the officer will sign the conversion off.
How long have you been in business?
I personally have been in the home improvement business for around 30 years, all the trade persons we use are time served and have decades of experience, our electricians and plumbers are fully qualified and have the appropriate certifications.
What guarantee does your work come with?
Building projects such as extensions and lofts comes with a 10 year guarantee similar to the NHBC, conservatories and windows is 15 years, the firestone rubber roof has a 25 year guarantee covered by firestone itself.
What do you love most about your job?
The most satisfying is the finish of any improvement big or small, so that's what i like about my job, taking before and after pictures and seeing what a difference we have made.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When i first started (many years ago) i worked for a home improvement company which i really enjoyed, after several years myself and a friend decided to work for ourselves and luckily haven't looked back.
Why should our clients choose you?
We rarely if at all take a deposit because we put our trust in the customer and are confident of our workmanship and customer care from start to finish.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We keep our distance and always wear a mask, washing hands and using sanitiser regularly, we do not work in the same room as anyone in the household.
Famliy business, we can simply change a plug to building a new house.
All our trade persons are qualified and time served, we install roofs, windows & doors , facia’s guttering & downpipes, conservatories, cladding, extensions, fencing, decking etc etc , we have specialists in every department regarding property , liability insurance in place for peace of mind .
