Since my PT sessions with John at Purpose Fit, I have seen a great change in my confidence, overall strength, knowledge and both my physical and mental health.
John creates great and engaging programmes, which made achieve my goals fun and suitable for me.
With my goal to run a marathon, John is amazing at listening to what you need to focus on and also adapts the sessions if there is anything that changes and is very knowledgeable if you need advice from you diet, motivation and a general check in.

I have been attending personal training sessions with John at Purpose Fit for a while now. He is very professional and efficient. He makes personalised programmes and explains how and why each exercise helps. He is also flexible in accommodating last minute requests/changes and is constantly reviewing your health improvements - focused on your goals as much as you are! And most importantly, he strikes the right balance of being motivating, patient and a brilliant trainer.
John makes exercising fun and interesting – always making me look forward to the next session!

Since working with John from January 2022 I have noticed a significant improvement in terms of my recovery. Not only have my legs completely changed in appearance through the rebuilding of muscle, they are much more stronger, agile and flexible. This has given me the confidence to exercise more and to trust the process, all whilst thoroughly enjoying myself. John has definitely given me a new found confidence in myself and improved my mobility tenfold. My main priority is to strengthen my legs and fully recover from an operation but I’m throughly enjoying the full body workouts that John is putting me through, which not only aids my leg recovery but assists with my overall strength and fitness too. I am throughly enjoying the upper body sessions too!! Can’t thank John enough and I am looking forward to experiencing what the next few months of hard training brings!! Thank you John!! More...

Q&As

I arrange a strategy session, either in person or online to find out more about them as a person as well as what their fitness goals are and we come up with a plan together, from bespoke plans, things to do at home from stretches to nutritional advice based on their sport.
* Will not be nutrition plans as i am not a qualified nutritionist but will be advice and guidelines to follow*
I tailor each block to their specific need and help them readh optimal performance in their chosen sport.

I love seeing the development of the athletes from mindset, to confidence boosting and stating how they freel quicker stronger and more fitter when performing their sport.

Ive always been interested in sport and physical activity and to be able to work with people in this environment, working together to get their goals and making a difference to their lives is what inspires me to give the best service i can.
