Clients will complete a health and lifestyle questionnaire upon we will discuss it, set goals accordingly and then revisit and monitor progress at regular intervals.

One of my favourite quotes: Paracelsus, the father of pharmacology, has famously said: “The body is capable of defending, healing and repairing itself when provided with the materials necessary to do so.”

In my humble opinion - Good wholesome food and the correct exercise can transform your life!!

Let me tell you a bit about myself: I grew up in South-Africa and have been living with my husband in the UK since 2001. I have twins, a boy and a girl, who is 10 and a 12 year old boy. I am a qualified food and textiles technology teacher and is currently teaching part time.

Growing up as a child I struggled with my weight, despite being active. (boarding school doesn't allow for healthy food choices lol) Needless to say I was often teased and humiliated by other pupils; resulting in me joining a weight loss club at the age of 13. I was very successful and lost the extra weight quickly. The downside was that I got somehow obsessive about my weight. I was glued to the bathroom scale, ate very little and exercised an average of 5 days a week. This carried on throughout my school career and university. It was really hard work and self control to keep my weight constant, not sure how I did it. I guess age was on my side!!!

As the years passed with more responsibility and busy family life around my 30's it became a struggle to keep up the exercise regime and I became a typical yo -yo dieter, never the same size with a constant fluctuation in weight, shape and size. I am convinced that all the quick fixes did real damage to my poor body but the upside is we have the ability to change our circumstances and I did just that and have not looked back since.

I started training with a personal trainer, who understands my goals and needs and combined with a customised eating plan I soon saw my body changing. For the first time ever I was happy to look at myself in the mirror.

It was at this point that I've decided to train as a Personal Trainer, which was not an easy decision as I had to fit it in along side my teaching job. It took a lot of early mornings, late nights and weekends but I couldn't be happier.

I am so excited to embark on this new journey and cannot wait to help other's to begin their steps to total wellness.
