What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the final product is exhilarating for any photographer, but for me it's also great to see people finally "getting it," and being able to perform to the camera with a relaxed confidence. In my work with small businesses, it's exciting to see business learn to use photography effectively, which really means telling their story effectively - and experience the power of it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love meeting people, I'm curious about what makes them tick. People who need portraits and corporate photography generally have a mission in mind. I enjoy being a part of that mission.
Why should our clients choose you?
Mainly because they want good photography, and they want a photographer who is easy to work with.
Clients often say I'm a good photographer for people who hate being photographed. Also I often hear "how great it is to have a portrait that I actually want to use."
So it sounds as though if you hate being photographed, and you want a portrait that you "actually want to use," then I'm a good choice.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
- Output - photography - is normally reviewed and delivered remotely anyway.
- Non-portrait shoots easily facilitated without client present
- Portrait shoots can be facilitated using remote/local studios, where available.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
- Normal social distancing/mask-wearing/hand-sanitisation
- Attention to studio ventilation
- Strict time limits on shoot segments with breathers out of doors.
Head Shot Photography
Strong and simple headshots, normally against the classic light grey backdrop, with a focus on great performance to the camera.
Basic session up to 2 hrs in studio, or on location.
Perfect for professionals and actors who want to take the time to explore their image and get the best out of themselves.
Company Shoot 1/2 Day
For small businesses, often you can achieve the basic photography for online marketing in half a day - including but not restricted to headshots (staff portraits), images of people in action, both candid and set-up, product, client images (social proof), location images - important if your potential clients need to know you're nearby.
