Shocked. Clearly unfit in terms of professionalism. Firstly, I hired a gentleman called Petre-Alxandru Stan whom I never spoke to or met.
Instead, an Irish outfit contacted me claiming to be part of the same team. A young man climbs onto my roof, takes it apart and renegotiates the price on his terms. Nothing short of holding someone over a barrel.
After the work is complete, I get a message from their boss called Thomas demanding payment. I refused and stood my ground offering them a fair price as the original works did not occur and it took 2 hours to complete. After much to and fro we settled on a figure. Thomas also threatened to pop round and undo the work if not paid.
After payment, I asked Thomas to send me the certificate for the works and with over 28 messages via Mybuilder.com and several promises he failed to do it. Do not trust them. Please be careful.

I had a huge leak in my apartment which was coming through the spot lights so very dangerous. Ceiling looked like it was going to cave in after second rainfall. Tom and his guy initially came to take a look (although didn't show up twice) and were very nice to start with. They gave a good quote. They proceeded to not show up for the first time the night before even though we confirmed this date. No problem and said they would show up the next day. I called and left voice mails and had 0 response. Didn't bother getting back to me with a new time. Ridiculous. So unreliable considering my ceiling is literally caving in and my flat is being flooded. Waited a whole week for them to come and fix it and wasted my time when I could have asked for someone else to come and fix. If you want someone to show up when they say they will, these guys are not the ones to use. More...
