We offer private tuition in Psychology, Sociology, Study skills, anthropology and criminology. The lessons are either run on a one to one basis or in groups depending on students needs and requirements. Subjects are tutored to GCSE, A level, Access to HE and undergraduate level.

What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy tutoring Psychology and Sociology to students as I have knowledge interest and skill in these subject areas. Tutoring these subjects enable me to pass on my knowledge, interest and skills to other learners. Also I am given the opportunity to practice these skills. I enjoy the input and discussion side of the subject matter as debates can be evaluated in terms of their strengths and weaknesses.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired with private tuition as this has given me the opportunity to enhance my knowledge and skills on a one to one basis and work for myself as I will have more flexibility to work around my domestic and family responsibilities. The demand for private tuition has been high and felt that this would give me the opportunity to progress in tutoring and to expand my tuition leads into group tutoring at discounted rates.

During my teaching, I have experienced tutoring students in groups and a one top one basis in the classroom and in private tuition. for 20 years with excellent exam success and achievement, to GCSE, A Level, BTEC, Access to HE and undergraduate level to the mainstream 16 t0 21 year old students and to the mature students. I have a patient, friendly and understanding relationship with the students and have the ability to adapt my teaching style depending upon students needs and abilities.

I am a professional and experienced teacher in Psychology and Sociology. I am keen to maximise student interest by maintaining topical discussions within the subject areas.
Over the past 20 years, I have experienced a wide range of learners and have no problems in adapting my teaching styles accordingly. My teaching experiences have been face to face and online within the classroom and the group setting.
