I am a professional Videographer and Photographer covering all disciplines and specialising in food and portraiture and corporate videos with music videos.
I have over 35 years experience and attended Bournemouth and Poole Art College to study photography.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret isn't really a secret, but rather involves work, attention to detail, practice and understanding.
Technical ability and understanding is necessary but not of primary importance, rather understanding composition and all the intangible things that all act together to produce the image.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the work for, and can we work together in harmony to create the piece or pieces you need ?
Am I the right man for the job ? If not can I recommend a colleague who may be more suitable ?
What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety and daily challenge of my work. Every day represents new problems requiring my creative input and solutions. My work asks questions of me professionally & personally, and asks that I grow to meet the challenges.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started in 1984 and all my fellow photographers all had their own business.
It seemed and is the natural progression when I had reached a suitable level of expertise and experience through assisting other professionals.
Why should our clients choose you?
My style is suitable for those requiring beautiful well composed and stunning imagery. I have extensive experience working with models and portrait sitters and am skilled at getting the essence and look that catches people at their best.
I have a full and well rounded experience in other areas too including food and still life. I bring to the table my wealth of knowledge and experience and you get access to that.

I have been involved with video many time during my career in photography and some of the skills and lessons learnt in stills are transferable and many need to be learnt fresh as video and the moving image is in some respects a very different discipline.
