Been training here since Jan 19. It’s a friendly place to train and the coaches know how to get the best out of you with a friendly word or tough love depending on what they know will elicit the right response.

Personally I’ve seen an increase in strength and reduction in aches and pains since training.

There is good advice also on diet.

Been training at Primal for the brunt of 2 years now. Hands down the best gym I've ever trained at. There's a great community atmosphere which coupled with the breadth and depth of knowledge Pól and the other coaches have, make it incredibly accessible to all groups and many times more effective than the glorified equipment rental services that many typical gyms have become. I went to primal because I was tired of the usual commercial gyms and needed that extra push. I learned quickly that Primal was the gym that I needed to give me that push. They also gave me valuable knowledge on various different training methods as well as correcting any flawed lifting habits I may have developed over the years.
I would highly recommend this gym.

I've trained with some good PTs in the past but since starting Primal In Jan 2019 I have transformed to a new level both physically & mentally.

The level of coaching, knowledge, enthusiasm & programming is phenomenal.

I'm pushing / moving my body in ways I could not imagine was possible. What once was my impossible is now what I do for fun!

The atmoshphe is fantastic, everyone encourages & helps eachother, there's a constant buzz to be part of.

Primal is much more than a training facility its a communtiy of like minded people.

I honestly can't narrow down what I love, Primal ticks all the boxes.

The best decision I have made was giving Primals week trial a chance.

I highly recommend Primal strength and movement to anyone. I've been going to Primal for over a year and a half now, I still enjoy learning new things and improving myself every day. I have really noticed my body shape changing, feeling stronger and having more energy than before, my mobility has also really developed more which helps with training in BJJ.
Anyone looking to change your mind set get in contact with the coaches at Primal! And don't look back only forward.

I’m a new member and have been blown away by the attention to detail and knowledge of the guys in Primal. They are patient and encouraging and through the body movements alone I’ve already noticed an improvement in my flexibility and my back pain has reduced significantly. I have trained with Primal for 3 years now and cannot fault them. The best thing for me is the craic and banter within the group training sessions which makes you look forward rather than it being a chore. I joined primals 12 week kettlebell and bodyweight programme online. let me start by saying it has been life changing for me, from someone who was what I would call a fast food junkie to conciously making better choices and training 3 times a week consistently. this was amazing for me as it gave me the push to do it from the online group to Pol holding me accountable. granted I tried to hide behind silly reasons for not eating vegetables or healthier but after a day or two or so Pol saw through this, and called me out and hit me with a few hard truths. (Ones i didnt like hearing but needed to badly). I would highly recommend primal to anyone looking not only to get in shape but to change there mindset and their lifestyle. this programme has changed my entire outlook on the gym work and on lifestyle choices alongside investing in myself. We pay for car insurance and pay all out these sorts of things to look after our property but do we ever invest in our own future or put the money into ourselves. Top Quality Coaching Online with instructional videos and daily feedback if and when needed. When I joined Primal in January, I was 53 going on 70. This was another annual New Year Resolution to get fitter. This is the first time it's lasted more than 4 weeks . .. 7 months and still going! In that time i've dropped 1 and a half stone and a couple of waist sizes. I’m even feeling young again Result! All down to great advice, great coaching and varied training programs that keep up the interest and the motivation. Totally recommend it to anyone. More...

Guys Primal is simply a great gym. Personally I was getting tired of unstructured gym sessions and often went through periods of over training or under training and often spent more time on the muscles that looked good than the ones that I needed or I found difficult to exercise. At Primal all the sessions are aimed at improving your whole body and the sessions are kept varied and change regularly to keep it all fresh. I've been to many gyms over the years but this is something different. If you are looking to leave feeling like you've actually achieved something, and know you are doing the correct exercise for your body type then Primal is the gym to join. The instructors are great and know each individual and what they are capable of. The workouts are tailored to your indivudual needs and technique is their priority! I had not been to the gym in a few years so was a little apprehensive of what to expect! But I didn’t need to worry as Pol, Gareth and Lewis are outstanding in what they do and have a wealth of knowledge and experience between them. I liked that they make me feel that nothing is to much trouble and they have always time to explain and show the various exercises etc. I'd would be more than happy to recommend Primal hence the 5 star review. All the guys genuinely care about the members - I've had memberships of many gyms over the years, and never once had someone reach out and enquire how things were going until i joined Primal - could not recommend highly enough on that alone - and the quality of the training is exceptional and deserves 5 stars on its own. By far the most advanced training environment I've experienced. The knowledge of the staff extends well beyond the norm with methods used pushing past conventional training. The skill set and experience of the team is superior to most, if not all, gyms in the area. As a journalist I will always call on the expertise of Pól for commentary on any health and fitness-focused editorials that I put together. Definitely recommend regardless of your fitness levels. I have been going to commercial gyms for a few years and never felt completely comfortable in the weights area as it was always overflowing with men donning big biceps and chicken legs. As soon as I stepped into Primal, I felt at ease and that I belonged there- and I'm sure everyone else would say the same! The coaches are so welcoming and more than willing to help if you're struggling to get the right form. I love the style of training in Primal, with strength and movement as the focus. In saying that, although not all of the programmes are focused on getting 'ripped' in 12 weeks, I guarantee you'll get into the best shape you've been in- I certainly am! When you go for a session, not only do you get tips on training, but nutrition and mindset too. Everyone is so passionate about training, it makes you enjoy the process too, particularly in a group training environment. But I've left the main reason for going to Primal until the end...to see Pól (and if he's in his tutu, even better �) More...

I started going to primal for a 3 wk body challenge. Loved it that much signed up again and continued to train there for about 6 mths. The Instructers where brilliant, they really helped to motivate and keep me focused. All the staff where so friendly and very knowledgeable. Primal is not your ordinary gym. It's extremely extraordinary! After 2 back surgeries they took the time to assess and really think what I needed personally. Back to basics in movement, progressing through to weights and now I'm capable of most things. Always made me like I was in safe hands and explained the 'why' rather than just the 'how'. Which really builds needed confidence. They not only strengthen your physical game but realise how much your mental game counts also. Couldn't recommend them enough. great gym, pol is a very knowledgeable coach, I trained with pol for 7 years, from when I couldn't even do a press up on all fours and a complete cardio head to being able to do pull ups and realising effects over training. pol always bringing latest training methods, keeping training varied and interesting. and craic is sweet. if only he baked......... I joined Primal 3/4 months ago having been in multiple gyms in Belfast and Lisburn over the years. There nothing wrong with other gyms but my fitness / strength never really changed. I had heard great reports about Primal and thought I would give it a go - it hasn't disappointed. I joined the Free Range Humans 06:00am group and now benefit from great training from Kaya Pol and Lewis. Have been really pushed and since then my mobility and strength has really improved. Working in a small group to you benefit from support and encouragement from fellow members.Why else would you want to get up for a 6:00am class?! Top marks Primal ! . More...
