We cover all types of events no matter how big or small including Birthday Parties, Weddings, Themed Nights, Karaoke and everything in between.

jason did an amazing job at our engagement party on the 30th of november. He turned up early and set up within an hour, was polite and very friendly . we love 50s/60s music and there was plenty. the karaoke was great and there were thousands of songs to choose from, everybody was up singing all night. we will definately be hiring jasin again for our sons 21st party. Very glad we booked PopUp-DJ for our wedding at the Yarrow hotel in Sept 19. The booking process was smooth from the start and Jay even took time to meet with us a few weeks prior to the wedding to discuss the details. We booked Jason for our wedding in July 2018, brilliant service , he went and checked out the venue before hand for set up. Easy to make a initial deposit and pay outstanding balance. We first used Jay for my 50th birthday in October. He did a fantastic job for us, so much so, that we booked him for our wedding in February. Jay is very personable and got everyone one up dancing and nothing was too much trouble. We booked Jason for our wedding celebration he was fantastic. On time great music very friendly and good value.
I like the fact he phoned us for a music list and you could txt him for your requests.

We booked Jason for our wedding reception and I am so pleased we did. Right from the start he was brilliant, he was so patient and friendly even when we were still slightly disorganised :) We had a lot of fun adding music to the playlist and it was so easy to use! On the day he arrived and set up on time and it looked amazing! The background music during the day was perfect and the evening disco had us all dancing for hours (there wasn't a moment the dancefloor was empty!!) Booking was easy, and we especially liked that you can Make your own play list on the website... Meeting different supplies and people whilst organising a wedding can sometimes be challenging but when we met jay to discuss final details we both agreed that he was the Man for the job and we were left confident that he had everything in hand. We booked Jason for a disco and karaoke for my daughter and her friend's joint 13th birthday party. All the children were up dancing throughout the evening which is a testament to how good it was!
The girls loved being able to create their own playlist in the weeks leading up to the disco from simply signing in to the website which was great.
Jason is professional and friendly and I would not hesitate to book him again!

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Let the party bed in with a nice warm up selection whilst everyone arrives and the drinks start flowing, then bring out the big guns those tunes you cant help sing to in the car or do air guitar to in the kitchen and finish with the never die classics when the dance floor is full.
We always invite a playlist from the party and offer the "Text A Request" service during the night, that way everyone gets what they want fitted around the age of the party group.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have DJ'ed in the UK and abroad for over 15 years after deciding to retire in 2014 due to a hectic 3 year stint in the Canary Islands,
In 2016 I realised I just cant live without it I love the job to much, so I'm back again as the PopUp-DJ but this time covering all manner of private events as well as Bars and Clubs.

PopUp-DJ offers Mobile Disco Hire to suit all situations and budgets, it doesn't matter why you need us just know we have got you covered.
Our range of Bespoke, Tailored Disco packages are able to cater to the needs of your individual occasion or event. Our wide range of lights and 1500 watt or 2500 watt sound systems can cope whether you have 20 or 400 people.
With a vast array of music to suit all tastes from the 60's to today, your guests can make requests on the day and we can even prearrange playlists with you prior to the event taking place the decision is yours.
We also offer a unique "Text A Request" service so you don't even have to come and ask to get a song played.
