Pivot Care Group is keeping fully abreast of developments relating to the continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the UK and Ireland. We are routinely monitoring developments, reviewing our protocols, and preparing appropriate responses as the situation evolves.

Pivot Care Group continues to work closely with Department of Health and Social Care, Care Quality Commission, NICE Guidelines and PAMMS order to protect colleagues and customers and maintain service delivery. Pivot Care Group office is keeping their Business Continuity Plans constant review as we have now triggered our Severe Infectious disease pandemic action plan in our Business Continuity Plan and we continue our preparation for a possible further escalation of the outbreak.

All our staff has completed a 2 days Refresher training in Infection Prevention and Control, Corona Virus Awareness, COSSH and Health and Safety at Work.

We have ensured that we have every appropriate PPE in stock

We are checking on all staff in ensuring that they are following government instruction and Guidance and ours on how to keep themselves and their service user’s safe.

Supporting/ supervising our residents with their daily living activities in a person-centred manner and in a way that improves their confidence and encourage them to be independent as possible.

Working in manner that improves their self-determination and encouraging them to achieve their set goals and aspiration.

We set our focus on providing tender loving care to all our residents in a manner that does not take their independents, respect and self-esteem away

Assisting/ prompts/ supervise our service user in the below aspect of daily living

Administration of medication in accordance with their care plan and the wish of the service user

Meal Preparation in a safe and inclusive manner while respecting residents wishes,

Eating and drinking

Continence management (assisting to the toilet, changing of incontinence pad, empty catheter bags, convene catheter, commode etc)

Washing or bathing, dressing, oral care, care of skin, hair care

Social inclusion such as supporting residents to attend church services, mosque, visit families and friends, day centre, hospital appointments, visit other community services

Working with the Service user, their family and support network in ensuring a pain free and dignity end of life care for our service users.

We support our service users to regain their lost skills in day to day living activities, social inclusion and Personal Administration in their own home will adopt doing with model with strength based and outcome focuses approach in ensuring that we achieve a better outcome with our clients.

Our Reablement specialist trained support worker, care coordinator / Supervisor and a dedicated risk assessor will work with you , Community Independent Service and your support networks to ensure that our clients regain independence , motivation and confidence in achieving their set goals.
