PTPT is a great organisation which tackles the complexity of mental illness. As a person who has dealt with anxiety myself, and who has had close family members suffer with serious mental health issues, I am so greatful that Piece Together is focused on helping others who are suffering with mental health, and it was a huge pleasure to have been part of it.

What do you love most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is how rewarding it is, to be there for those that really need some support.
Knowing that a level of trust and a raport is formed, and seeing positive change and progress being made is priceless.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started the business because I know what it was like to be in desperate need of help and have no where to turn. I have seen the dangers and turmoil of others where they have needed emotional and/or psychological assistance but not received it, and the consequences of this can be so destructive and permanent.
There is a huge stigma attached to taking about mental health, and a lack of accessible services, I felt a need to be part of the solution.
Why should our clients choose you?
It can be daunting knowing which therapy is right for you.
Piece Together Psychological Therapies identify as client focused. This means that the client is always a priority and any therapeutic approaches are tailored to and executed in the best interest of the client at all times. It also means that we promote autonomy, and like the client to hold some power within the therapeutic relationship.
