What a lovely little place. Popped in today to get a cuppa & met with such a great welcome & smile. As it was a sunny October afternoon we sat on the seats outside, we had a great cuppa & coffees, the cakes looked amazing! A lovely little cafe. Busy but welcoming. And all day breakfast that really is all day. Right up until they stop doing food.
Everyone we spoke to head a great time and enjoyed their meals, ourselves included. The ethos is for everything to come from Cornwall, locally where possible and for everything to be as unadulterated as possible.
They have a great selection of Tregothnan tea and origin coffee. And also supply picnic hampers.
Industrial tables that are great to sit at and decor which can tell a story (just read the floor).
The service team are lovely. Great conversationalists and passionate about what picnic stands for.
Portion sizes are big and the cakes, pasties and pies look lovely (we didn't have room to try).
Well worth a visit and your patronage. Well be popping back too.

I ordered a Xmas hamper for delivery to friends in the UK as a Xmas gift. The ordering process online was quick and easy, I choose the option of "build your own hamper". This was perfect, to select yourself which items put in the hamper. Delivery was in time, and received big compliments of the recipients, they were overwhelmed by the beautiful hamper and wanted to check out all unique products and sample it straight away. I have a caramel latte everyday and I can honestly say this is the best I have ever had! It was that good, I had to also get a takeaway coffee for the journey home.
The staff are very friendly and the shop itself is beautiful!
Please can you open a shop in Watford, I would be there everyday!

Delicious food and lovely coffee, great decor and friendly, helpful and accommodating staff who moved tables and chairs so that my parents - both elderly and disabled, wheelchair and scooter users - could gain access. It would definitely have been 5 stars had a very small portion of porridge not been £4.95. Otherwise excellent and will visit again next time we’re holidaying in this part of the world.
