Our experience and support from Peter has been nothing short of amazing. From our initial session he was clear, took the time to understand both us, our dog, what we wanted to achieve and helped us to get there throughout our sessions. It’s very clear that Peter has a passion for what he does and really cares about the dogs within his care and trust. We started our sessions with an 18 month Labrador, who appeared extremely disobedient, reactive and had no respect for us as owners or our home. Similarly, us as owners had no idea how to understand this behaviour, manage it, improve it or where to even begin. In a short space of time, Peter helped us to understand the root causes and gave us the guidance as owners to improve. Less than six weeks later, we have a dog who we understand, who listens to us, we know how to manage and we almost cannot believe what a difference in his behaviour, that Peter’s training has made. We were full of anxiety with our dog worrying what he would do next before Peter came to see us. From the first visit we started to gather the skills needed to change the dynamic in the house and start to gain respect.
We had our dog growling at us daily which hasn’t happened since the first visit.
Peter explains everything you are doing, the logic behind it and what it means to the dog, previous trainers have never done this and it gave us the confidence we needed to deal with our dog.
It is also great know I can check in with Peter if I’m not sure in a situation and always have the option for another session if we want to go over anything.
There is still a lot of hard work for us to do but we are now armed with the skills we need for us and our dog to have an enjoyable life together!

Peter changed the game for us from the first session. His knowledge and understanding of dogs is far more than you could ever imagine. When we first met Peter we had a rescue dog who was reactive to a lot of things due to her anxiety which we didn't realise at the time. Now we have a better understanding of our dog, a better bond with our dog and a better working relationship with our dog. Other trainers have failed us in the past but Peter gave us the confidence and tools we need. We wouldn't be where we are today without Peter and although we still have a long journey ahead of us, we've already taken some big steps and made huge progress. I would recommend him to anyone and can hand on heart say he has changed our lives forever. Peter is an absolutely brilliant dog trainer. I can’t praise him highly enough. Before we met Peter our french bulldog was out of control, he was the boss of us not the other way around. We had the five hours consisting of 3 sessions and oh my god, it’s like we have a completely different dog. Peter shown us where we were going wrong (everywhere) Peter not only trained the dog but he trained us. The people that visited us before we had Peter couldn’t believe the difference in Jax. It's been 5 months since we had our training session with Peter and it's nothing short of a miracle. One of our dogs was being quite aggressive to dogs in general but, most worrisome were the attacks against our other dog. They were as frequent as 5-6 times a month. I was preparing myself to find another home for him. I'm overjoyed to say that he has not attacked her ONCE since our session with Peter. As my family have put it, Peter is a ‘dog whispering god’. He has helped tremendously with Nala-my 1 year old hyper energetic anxious Sproodle. Peter took and trained her for 3 weeks and she came back a changed dog! I would highly recommend going to PES Dog Training, he has done absolute wonders and has changed our lives. Nala used to be non stop pacing around the house, extremely anxious outside and used to pull so hard that i physically couldn’t hold her myself. 3 weeks with Peter and those issues seem like a distant memory. We decided to undertake this path to improve our life and that of our dog. I met Peter around the same time I adopted my wonderful greyhound Eva and I’m So glad I did! Eva understandably had a few behavioural issues and needed some time and consistency in adjusting to living in a home. She had lived in previous homes but being an ex racer, she had spent most of her 2.5 years in the planet in kennels and wasn’t particularly well socialised. Peter showed me the fundamentals to developing a great relationship with your companion. This has meant there will be no risk of Eva having to move home again! We covered issues with Eva’s separation anxiety, resource guarding, dominance over other dogs and fear aggression. I’m So pleased to say that although Eva’s spirit is exactly the same, behaviourally I have a very different dog now. If you’re looking for a more relaxed and peaceful bond with your canine friend, Peter can help put you inside the mind of your dog, so you can understand their motivations and the consequences of your behaviour towards them. What results is a beautiful and harmonious relationship! I would recommend anyone see Peter if they are struggling with a particular behaviour or if they just want to enhance your existing relationship. He is very well read and passionate on the subject.
