Perfect Pups Dog Walking and Pet sitting was opened by myself a year ago. After being a manager in the care sector for many years, I decided to follow my dream and start my business. I have never looked back! I am a sole trader and walk a maximum of 4 dogs on a group walk.

Carlsberg don’t make dog walkers, but if they did... I can’t recommend Cheryl enough. She looks after my Boston Terrier everyday. He loves her more than me. . I know that he is in safe hands when he is out with her, especially being a brachycephalic breed. Cheryl has done a fantastic job of coming and visiting our two kittens while we were away on holiday last week. She came every day as planned, fed, watered and played with my cats and cleaned their litter. She even had time to whip the hoover round so the flat was lovely and clean for when I got back. We have two working labs which have quite specific needs in terms of what they can and can’t do. Cheryl is amazing with them and ensures these needs are all met.
They clearly absolutely adore her too and enjoy the varied walks she takes them on. She’s been so great with our pup who is recovering from an op and has worked round both their needs balancing short and longer walks with them, she’s been so understanding and flexible with it all.
We would 100% recommend Cheryl.

What do you love most about your job?
I love spending time with dogs and other animals. I love seeing their smiley faces when they are having fun with me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to work with animals. I had a dog walker myself that had left a good job and she inspired me to ‘go for it and follow my dream’ like she had. I have never looked back
Why should our clients choose you?
I have lots of patience. I will love your dog as if he/she were my own. I don’t do large groups. I am a small company and intend to stay that way. I want your dog to have lots of fun, socialisation and exercise whilst with me. I vary my walks. My current customers love my flexibility and I am happy to provide references on request
