had Penelope Pitstop at my sons 18th birthday party in April. the food was great. brilliant value for money, very tasty and was a unique twist to add to our theme instead of the usual party food. set up, cooked and cleared up with no problems/fuss. would definately recommend for a party/event. great communication beforehand too and very helpful with the arrangements and questions. Communication with Jackie ahead of the event was quick, straightforward and responsive.
She turned up with her team as expected, set up without problems and was fired up and ready to prepare/serve food on time.
They remained throughout the night of the party, serving continuously.
This is great food. A bit different, healthy and substantial.
Everyone enjoyed it.
This was an 18th birthday party so it was perfect for our fiesta theme, but provided sustenance for the night.
Great value for money too - thoroughly recommend.

What’s your signature dish?
Arepa - Venezuelan corn pockets stuffed with black beans and a choice of spicy shredded beef, pulled pork or butternut and topped with guasacaca (Venezuelan avocado sauce) and/or cheese.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I offer a preliminary menu from which they pick and choose items and introduce them to our website where they can look at the types of food we offer.
What do you love most about your job?
Introducing people to delicious South American food and new culinary experiences.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I lived for almost 10 years in South America, during that time I cooked during my holidays at an Eco resort on the Caribbean coast where visitors from all over South America came and shared their knowledge of food. I also travelled extensively through the region and ate mainly street food. I wanted to recreate these dishes for people in this country and introduce them to an as yet relatively undiscovered cuisine.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am passionate about introducing people to authentic South American food. The food is new and exciting, interesting and delicious. Our vegan options are extremely popular and many of our dishes are gluten free.
