I had never been to a gym before, so I was pretty intimidated by it all, Scott made it less daunting and even enjoyable. I’ve been going once a week for three months and in that short time I’ve seen big improvements in the way I move, I have a lot less back pain and dare I say the beginning of a six pack?!?! He’s given me exercises I enjoy and suited the programming to what I need to move better and be stronger! More...

Scott Robinson is a fabulous trainer who will really personalise your training. I have been working with him for almost two years. I am 53 years old and he manages my aches and pains (ex-Army Commando and ultra-marathon runner - this is a high-mileage model with more surgical steel in my left arm than bone and arthritis in one knee) brilliantly. I started seeing Scott after I bulged a disc in my lower back and had sever back pain/sciatica. To be honest it had been a long time coming, as I’d suffered with lower back pain though sport for a number of years, and it finally went one day lifting with bad form. I realised that I had spent a lot of time teaching my body to move in the wrong way, and that if I wanted to stop being in pain, but continue doing sport with confidence, physio alone wasn’t enough and I needed to go back to basics. Scott has been amazing, has a way of breaking down a movement and explaining it in a way that made sense to me, and being incredibly patient when it took me a while to get it... changing the way he explained it, or using drills to help me understand how parts of the movement should feel. I have recovered from my injury and in the last few weeks have not had any back pain - which is a first in a long time! I still have a way to go and am still learning, but I’m chuffed to bits with the progress I’ve made. So thanks Scott! I wound recommend Scott/Peakfit to anyone looking to do the same as it’s really worked for me. More...

I came to Scott after my own training plateaued. After a consultation he quickly identified my movement issues and muscle imbalances tailoring a programme to me to help me achieve my goals. I worked with Scott after a rotator cuff injury and loss of mobility in my shoulder. Over 10 sessions my range of motion and stability in that area improved greatly, as did my understanding of how my body moves and how to apply that to my training.

I approached Scott as I required a program to sharpen me up for a Crossfit competition I had coming up, I can say hand on heart it was the best move I did, in the last four months the gains in strength have be unreal and with his guidance in the technical areas and the online program specifically tailored for me, I have improved massively in my lifting as well as the gymnastic side of Crossfit. I have achieved and past the goals set out in our constellation 6 weeks ago I would recommend Scott for programing or one to one sessions whatever your goals. More...

I started doing CrossFit in November 2012 and this is when I first met Scott. Since then I have seen him develop into a highly skilled, experienced and knowledgeable coach. As Scott has learnt and developed his knowledge, I have learnt so much from him about how my body moves and the importance of correct form. More recently Scott has been providing individual programming to help develop my gymnastics skills. A tall order to turn a nearly 50 year old into a gymnast! The gymnastic drills are simple but challenging and in the space of a couple of months I already felt the improvement in my strength and ability to move more efficiently in class workouts. Scott has helped to build my confidence with Olympic lifting, letting me know how to adjust my form with little tweaks in my positioning. We have also been working on drills to improve my form and to fire up the correct muscles for these highly technical movements. Someone once said to me that I shouldn’t ever have to pay to get fit as I am already highly motivated. If you want to take your fitness to the next level, then Scott is the person to help you achieve this no matter how motivated you are. He pushes me to step out of my comfort zone whilst retaining that element of fun. Always professional, sincere and patient Scott strives for perfection at all times from his clients. There are many people around that call themselves "coaches" after just a weekend certification and think that is all you need! Scott is the real embodiment of a coach who is not only knowledgeable now, but is on a life long journey to continue to learn and better his trade. This is very rare amongst coaches now a days. The best coaches are the ones that realize they don't know everything and are constantly wanting to improve, I can honestly say, if you are looking for a quality coach in the Norwich area, Scott is most definitely the person you need to see to reach your goals. Not only have my endurance and strength improved significantly while working with him, but I’ve also grown aware of my body’s strengths and weaknesses. If you’d like to take your training to the next level I can’t recommend Scott's programming highly enough.

Scott is great at what he does, really helped me with an on going lower back injury, teaching me how to dead lift to build up the muscles to protect my injury. We also worked on some very effective stretches that have really helped too. I would definitely recommend Scott to anyone battling an injury that needs some extra help and guidance to help motivate them !!! More...
